hoosiertildeath
THE " Knights " were 28&5 last year ! They do lose 6 Seniors who combined to score over 44 points per game ! They currently have 5 players from the State of Indiana ! Interesting to see how they do in D1! IU has played them in exhibition games in the past . 5fouls
Bellarmine. And, I believe it's for the '20-'21 season. Will be members of the Atlantic Sun Conference. Me thinks HTD got spell-checked! https://www.wdrb.com/sports/crawford-bellarmine-set-to-announce-move-to-ncaa-division-i/article_de0303a6-90f8-11e9-8b20-372ae2c7e255.html

ThePaulieWalnuts
Pretty cool deal. Figured they’d be a better fit with the Ohio Valley though.

I think it's a case of the Atlantic Sun having a spot open (9 current teams) and the OVC not (12 current teams).

Makes sense lol. Bellarmine has been good for awhile, going to be interesting to see if they can replicate NKU’s success.
IUALUM03
Really surprised University of Southern Indiana (USI) hasn't appied for D1 in basketball yet. It has been bounced around for years. I know they just finished a new arena for basketball, so maybe it is around the corner for them as well.

They've had some nice players come through there and I think could certainly recruit...but it will be more difficult with UofE over there at the Ford Center. Evansville is a great city and USI has a nice campus. With Bellarmine leaving the GLVC should be USI's to win.
