Steubenhoosier
https://247sports.com/college/indiana/Article/Indiana-basketball-For-the-48th-consecutive-season-Indiana-basketball-ranks-top-15-in-the-nation-in-attendance-134144825/ Ranked 12th overall. Over 15,000 per game I saw empty upper bowl more often than not. How does that visual jive with the attendance numbers?
thirdgenhoosier
If I’m not mistaken IU info is about number of tickets sold and not number of butts in seats. Maybe someone can confirm this?

Tickets sold is the number I believe every sport uses not just college basketball.

Brass Cannon
Wasn’t it top 10 for 40+ years?
OLDIUFAN
I would think it is tickets sold. My take is Indiana is a basketball lovin’ state. I would bet that the other schools, Purdue , ND, and others rank high on this chart also. We have some of the biggest high school gyms in the country. Hoosiers love to watch basketball at the high school and college level. If we can get back to the winning. The attendance at IU will go though the roof.
