IU4Ever Posted April 21, 2020 Report Share Posted April 21, 2020 Another interesting site is to see how the counties were formed, i.e., some formed directly from Indian Lands and then as the population grew, additional counties were formed from the original counties. I like to think that the smart people travelling from Virginia kept going and settled in Indiana, while the dumb ones never made it out of Kentucky. Dumb is 1 word, what I think is the ones that could not stop knocking their sisters up just had to stop and settle and Kentucky was the landing spot and for 200 plus years they are working hard to keep their heritage alive.
