BobSaccamanno
Interesting article. I was pleasantly surprised to see Indiana at 13 especially considering how many states ahead of us are much, much bigger (California, Texas, Florida etc) https://www.mlb.com/news/ranking-all-50-states-by-wins-above-replacement They didn’t have space to name them all, but lot of good names. Three Finger Brown, Max Carey, Chuck Klein, Gil Hodges, Don Larsen, Carl Erskine, Tim Stoddard, Mattingly as a player, Tommy John. Pretty good list. They just had a piece on WANE-TV this morning about Kevin Kiermaier of the Rays. Not many people realize that he is a Fort Wayne Bishop Luers grad. Indiana puts out a lot of MLB talent considering our population. As a side note I buy my ice fishing rods from Brent Gaff, former NY Met.
