BobSaccamanno
Can’t complain about a new addition who is a coach’s son and played a ton as a true freshman at a Power 5 school, and was a big priority for Coach Allen. Our LB corps in a couple of years could be very athletic. Our defensive recruiting is honestly of a different kind than we’ve seen since probably the late 80s. It seems when IU is good on offense, they are not good on defense and vice versa. It's seemingly been like this my entire life. It would be nice to be decent on both sides for once. Until then, IU will never be much better than a 7-5-5-7 program. I appreciate the difference Allen has made, but the offense definitely regressed last season. Injuries definitely played a part, but they have to keep a balance and be aggressive on offense.
