God forbid we get a little excited about the amount of talent we have brought in this off season. Shame on us.

Just a quick message of appreciation to Newton and Cupps. They could have easily taken the portal route but seem genuinely engaged in bringing talent to IU. Appreciate you guys and hope you ball out next season!

That's true... But there are also the criticisms of Woody that have been proven to be BS...Remember the "mass exodus?" The "what guard would want to play in his offense?" "The players all hate him?" The people that tried to pass those fairy tales will never own up... And I'm not looking for any victory lap over all this...As you said, let's see the product on the floor... But I can already here the excuses if we look good...

Here's my two cents. With Tucker, Rice, and Ballo we've already crushed the offseason. If/when Carlyle says yes that's even better. No disrespect to the Hickman or Essegian types but they won't move the needle like the above. If Essegian comes great. If not....find another.

We might have a dynamic, playmaking backcourt for the first time since Yogi left. If you think the very real shift in how Woodson & staff are recruiting and building their roster is just donors buying recruits, I'm not sure what Indiana Basketball could do to make you happy this spring, or summer. Maybe sit things out for a while. Replying back to downplay every piece of good news that might happen over the next six months sounds exhausting.

BTW, the most interesting thing Bardo said, at least to me, was "Bryson Tucker may well be the best player on this team." And I'd take his word on it over Goodman and those of his ilk any day...

As many thought, the new CBB landscape is VERY favorable for a program like IU. To be able to rebound like this after such a terrible year is just incredible

Indeed. It’s short sighted money grab. Kids will have no legacy anymore…any connections to an Alma mater etc will be gone because you sold out your schools. Something to be said for staying 4 years and building a lasting legacy and connection to the school that you will carry the rest of your life.

I checked the stats and Empty Chair had zero turnovers last year.

I saw TJD...DOIN' WORK ON kIRKWOOD tonight. Good to see him back in Btown with recruits in town. By the way it was 2am he was heading toward the gradute hotel and a group of girls chasing him. Good to be a young millionaire, maybe.

I agree with this to an extent, but I dont want to rebuild a roster of 6 guys from the portal every year. In state kids especially with the level of talent that Sisley has, are the type to build around and less likely to transfer generally speaking. In state/home connection, with PT, with $$$. No reason to go somewhere else. This year we have 3-4 starters from the portal. I think we hit homeruns, but I cant see that happening every year. Sisley and Sisley type players would bring a bit more stability. Yes you could say... what about CJ Gunn. And I would say... well Gallo came back to possibly come off the bench, and Leal came back for 5 minutes a game.

He did… that entire team loved them some barley pop, with Jeffries and Leach being about the only exceptions. I can remember many parties with many of the guys from the team back then. TC could do keg stands with the best of them. AJ would get, well it wasn’t pretty back in those days. I’ll never forget going to the Waffle House off of College Ave after a football game and having to get AJ outta the bathroom, because he was passed out leaning against a urinal and stall, barely holding himself up… those were the days!

Went well and he is a take. He's trying to decide if he wants to take anymore visits.

On one hand, I love seeing UK taken down a peg or two. On the other hand rooting for Jerry Jones/John Calipari to do it is like rooting for the murderers over the rapists.
