At first I thought you meant combined 😁

Maybe! We haven't even started selling yet! Couldn't help but laugh but even the Cardinals announcers on Friday night were saying look Cubs you have the best catcher in the NL....sign the man. Give your fans something.

My math might be off here but with roughly 8 games to go before the halfway point of season the Cubs, Reds, and Pirates are on pace for roughly 60 wins. The 2018 AL Central had 3 teams (White Sox, Royals, Tigers) at or below 64 wins on season.

Could this be the year where the worst division ever happens? Before the strike shortened the 1994 season these were the AL West standings. Either way the NL Central is in some rare air this year.

Rangers: 52-62

Athletics: 51-63

Mariners: 49-63

Angels: 47-68

Not sue whether it would be the worst ever.  But, regardless, it's pretty dang embarrassing.

It's not like Orange County is a small market but obviously the Angels have always taken the smaller brother role to the Dodgers. Like the article says Trout and Ohtani are generational talent players yet the whole country barely knows about them. Frustration continues for Angels last night.

Is Trout not allowed to call time and visit the mound?  At the very least, call time, fake an equipment issue, and let the coaches know what's going on while switching gloves in the dugout.

Castillo looked very good yesterday in his 2nd or so last start as a Cincinnati Red.

The only problem with his outing last night was his pitch count.  He needs to try to get outs earlier in the count and not have 122 pitches in 6 innings.

I think what Trout did last night was as close as it gets to showing up another professional. Heat of the battle type stuff but my understanding Trout is as classy as it gets. Maybe he's just tired of losing.

Drury an AS?

Possibly as reserve, but not worthy of being voted in as starter.  Personally, I think the Reds rep will be Castillo or Farmer.

The fact the Reds organization is asking fans to vote for players on this team is embarrassing.

Reds pitching can make any look good. Cubs up 6-0 after 2 and Ashcraft just gave up a grand slam.  Last game he went 7 shutout innings and tonight he doesn't look like the same pitcher.  This could be on of those 20 run games since the Reds will have to go to the bullpen early

Well the shift almost caused the Cubs a costly injuries. Ground ball right where the second baseman would be be they had two defenders just collide. The SS and second baseman was on the same side and lucky both players were able to get up and stay in the game. That play ended up like a little league play.  When the players collided the runner from who went to second then went to third since no one was covering third. The Cubs tried to throw to the third baseman but through it wild and the runner scored on what should have been a routine DP.
