  1. Is now an okay time to point out the Cavs have outscoring the Celtics by 1 in the four games thus far. None of the four games have remotely been decided by bad calls. The Pacers outscored the Cavs by 39. All four Pacers loses were decided by bad calls.
  2. I think the Celts would probably win in 7, so we aren't far off. I agree the Celts are deeper and are better coached, but the depth difference isnt what it is against Cleveland and the Pacers have the best player if they were playing right now.
  3. I think the Dubs in 6. Durant will be the difference.
  4. Yeah I get that, it was impressive, but it has nothing to do with what the Pacers did. I honestly believe its 1-1 if the refs officiated game 2 of this series like they did the Pacers series. That's not to say I think the Cavs got screwed, it's to say I think the Pacers did and the Celts didn't. Celtics won by 13 at home with an LBJ triple double (and possible concussion). Pacers lost by three on the road when the refs didn't let our best player play half the game. It isnt like the Celts outmatched the Pacers when they did play, and that was with Kyrie. I'm rooting for the Celts I am just salty it's not the Pacers playing them. You're selling the Pacers way short man.
  5. The Pacers would've been up 2-0 in Cleveland if they got the same whistle you just got.
  6. Celts are clearly the better team, but I wish the Pacers series had been called this way. Frustrating, think the Cers could beat either of these teams if it is called straight up.
  7. I actually thought his best finals performance was the first year back in Cleveland when they lost; Love and Kyrie were hurt. I thought he got screwed out of the Finals MVP.
  8. Third time in the playoffs they've done that. Great defense by the Celts but lots of missed shots, too. I think this series plays out similarly to the Pacers series.
  9. Even if that's true, they have control of OG for a very long time. He is probably the least likely person on their team to have a new home next season.
  10. The Pacers aren't going to get OG. The asking price for him would be ridiculously high and any pieces we have that would entice Toronto we aren't going to move.
  11. It also seemed more special because you were a child. We all romanticize our adolescent days; it's very normal. Everything you are saying is about your feelings and emotions; that's all fair but it does nothing to show the NBA is worse today. You certainly are entitled to feel how you want it's just not the basis for an argument.
  12. Then don't watch it or talk about it? I don't like Cricket, you don't see me letting everyone know every chance I get.
  13. Got it. So you don't like the NBA because it is "predictable", but don't care that football is. And you also don't like the NBA because the series are too long, but you do like baseball. It almost just seems like you don't like the NBA despite how often you post about it.
  14. This is generally true in football (NFL and NCAA) as well. I'll go ahead and assume you don't like football.
  15. Manu and Parker are also HOFers. Pop is great but he has had great talent. I personally think he deserves a ton of credit for having that talent, though.
  16. I'm going to have to disagree that Kyrie is better than Vic; assuming Vic can repeat or grow on what he did this year. He was just as good of a scorer and their defense isn't even remotely close. It isn't like Kyrie is an elite distributor, either. I did not mean that the Pacers have better talent around Vic than Boston. I was saying Pacers have better talent around Vic than Simmons and Embiid have around them in Philly.
  17. Philly is going to have two of the top 5-8 players in the game in a couple years; bright future ahead! Pacers probably will only have 1 legit star, but he will probably have better talent around him and might be better than any individual on Boston too. Then the Bucks obviously have some great pieces. Those four should make the East fun for a while, but yeah, I think the Celtics are in the best spot.
  18. The Celtics will be the deepest team in the NBA next year. It's honestly stupid how much depth they have.
  19. I'd argue you can include the Pacers, Sixers and maybe even Bucks as better teams. The Raptors just had the benefit of no major injuries and returning mostly the same team as last year. I actually think the East was as good as the West this year, sans Golden State and Houston. If the Celtics are healthy then I think they'd be in that group.
  20. I believe there years, but he will be a RFA. Pacers would basically have to trade for him.

  22. Love those! A few that stand out: "Let us remember that animals are not mere resources for human consumption. They are splendid beings in their own right, who have evolved alongside us as co-inheritors of all the beauty and abundance of life on this planet" ― Marc Bekoff "Clearly, animals know more than we think, and think a great deal more than we know." ― Irene M. Pepperberg "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated." ― Mahatma Gandhi
  23. Doesn't that 9 include Jordan Crawford?
