  1. May not have a better choice Williams (injured) Lowry Sorsby If Williams' injury is such that he is out all next season, then I would think we would need 2 transfers and not just 1. May still be looking for someone else that can immediately join and sign Nolan in the summer.
  2. You guys really going to stay up til midnight each day to get picks in?
  3. Seems like we are getting a lot of transfers from Texas schools. Do you have a lot of coaches scouring texas universities? lol
  4. highly rated coming out of high school but spent 1 year getting a redshirt and this past year only got 1 tackle in 8 games. How do our DL numbers look compared to last year? Seems like we are adding a lot of DL from the portal. Did we lose that many players from the DL or we just choosing to have more depth?
  5. I had St Brown last year in a keeper league and made the mistake of not keeping him this year. Kept Bateman instead and he was injured for most of the season. I had horrible luck in that league. - First round pick was Breece Hall. Out for year at week 7 - Second Round pick was Trey Lance. Out for year at week 2 We have a lot of keepers so this was with 9 rounds of keepers already off the board (108 players).
  6. Thanks. Caught some luck at right time. It was a very competitive league given 9-5 was a 2nd place finish. Had the same record in my other league but was only a 4th seed there and my team there decided to be no shows for playoffs.
  7. So what did we learn? 9-5 is the key to a championship
  8. Seems like the next Josh Allen to me.. lol (kidding)
  9. https://www.buildingthedam.com/2022/12/1/23488865/chance-nolan-oregon-state-football-qb-enters-the-transfer-portal 508 yards on the ground. Doesn't seem to be completely immobile. I think we'd take him in a heartbeat.
  10. Because you indicated that it is unfair if player doesn't end up playing when he wasn't the one injured.
  11. So then if i have a player that doesn't play during the season for any reason other than injury, I can just call do over?
  12. I would say it is more fair than your solution. We will have to agree to disagree.
  13. not really. be no different than having a player get injured. much more fair than saying lets do over every game.
  14. No, because you're re-rolling the dice. Players don't always perform the same each week. For example, Ekeler had a 37 point game this past weekend. Do you think he is going to have another 37 point in week 18?...but apparently it's fair to re-roll the dice anyway even though his results are already in and were set to count.
  15. Think he is still in critical condition (not dead yet unless I missed something). hopefully pulls through (not sure what his chances are).
  16. That's a bit different. I'm guessing those bets were just on that specific game. There is no solution in fantasy that would please everyone (as seen in our debate). I would guess they are trying to come up with options for leagues that have money involved.
  17. And my point was you'll never please everyone but doing a do-over is just as unfair as what you are complaining about. The choice to stick with week 17 is the most fair. You'll never reach completely fair but a cancelled game is similar to having a player or players get injured. An event that is unforeseen and out of the hands of the fantasy manager. 1 out of 16 games got cancelled. I don't agree that is enough to warrant a complete do-over even though I had a QB in that game. It would be no different then had he gotten injured in that spot of the game.
  18. Because week 17 was the set week for last round of playoffs. I am ahead currently and was predicted to have a big chance of staying ahead had they finished the game. How is it fair to say scratch this week and lets have a do over? I have no money on this obviously so not a big deal in my instance but I would be pissed if I did have money on it and someone said do over
