If it was me, then I would go with a guard or wing. I would prioritize speed/athleticism and outside shooting. 3 and D would be perfect. Need someone on D that is fast enough to stay in front of their man. Something we didn't have this past year outside of XJ (who unfortunately was out most of the year). With Reneau, Sparks, and Ware (hopefully), I don't think another big is a necessity.

Given how bad the average player is at shooting free throws these days, I'm not sure that is saying much.

I think we have had pics posted online of other players in iu gear that didn't end up at iu. It is cool and showing off a bit. Anyway, it is a good sign but I don't think it means anything is definite. Although I would still guess he is coming here

He could just like the attention. I think canceling the Alabama trip is the biggest sign of good news coming...as long as he doesn't schedule other visits.

If we get ware, ledlum and knecht, then would the upcoming team be expected to be better or worse than this past team? Guessing no one will be as good as tjd but depth should be a lot better.

I am still concerned that there aren't enough balls for XJ and Love to co-exist but guess that is Woodson's issue to figure out. When we learned of Woodson's interest, the about face probably is due to trust that he can make it work.

Painter has control of the their tvs and internet. They aren't aware that transferring or NIL is possible.

in the current system, why worry about that? With so many players jumping in and out of the portal, I'm not sure why keeping classes even would be a factor.

I thought the main point of 4 out was to spread the defense out farther and give everyone more room to operate whether for the big or an iso for one of the outs. If an out isn't a threat from deep, then the defense would just sag off him anyway and somewhat defeat the whole point.

If we are wanting to play 4 out, 1 in then how many big men do we really need? Seems like 3 would be more than enough for 1 position when you consider only 13 scholarships for 5 positions. I guess Ledlum isn't too shabby from 3 (30 percent) so maybe we are considering him one of the outs. Out 1) Johnson / Cupps 2) Gunn / Leal 3) Galloway / Newton 4) Ledlum (possibly) / Banks In 5) Reneau / Sparks / Shedrick (possibly) Putting Banks as an "out" is generous given he isn't much of a threat to shoot from outside (yet at least). If Shedrick is a lock, then the rest should be outside shooters. Ledlum should be the minimum we look for when it comes to ability to shoot the 3.

Still holding out hope for a DQ reclass?
