2024 F Liam McNeeley Decommits from Indiana

They are trying to encroach on our pipeline without actually wanting the player from the school? That seems rather odd. Hopefully Liam commits soon and gets the ball rolling for DQ and others. -
I think the only way you prioritize someone that will be here 3-4 years (over a 1 and done) is if they are good enough to give you good minutes for at least 2 or 3 of those years Has to be better than someone we have had riding the bench for 3 years and not seeing the court. There is also the worry about the transfer portal. You would rather have these guys transfer in and get them when they have experience over having them transfer out after trying to get them experience. So would have to make a determination on whether or not they would stay for their entire career. Otherwise you are better off transfer portal shopping. I think top teams are going to focus mostly on 1 and dones and transfers for most of the spots.

Dairy Queen should step up -
Haralson maybe. Seem to be in a good spot with Anthony too

maybe reacher is just reaching.... I'll exit now...

So apparently it's only somewhat safe to transfer if you're a grad transfer. I'm guessing part of the reason is more schools are willing to take a risk on someone that would only take a scholarship for 1 year and prefer to use transfer portal for people with more experience.

The movement 2.0 -
That's what it generally looks like at first until games start and we find players that breakout of the gate with good games and were overlooked.

Same here. Not sure I can think of a trade I have made where I didn't regret it later.

If it makes you feel any better, i got achane because yahoo gave him to me when i timed out. Every time I was going to take a TE, someone beat me to him. Was going to take Kelce in the first round and was 2 picks too late. Then had a few other TEs in my queue and without fail someone took them before it was my pick. Now i just have to hope goedert is past his injury woes.

I am optimistic about this season. I just don't see why some don't want to see that having doubts about our outside shooting is a legitimate concern.
-
It is too small a sample size to say he is a threat. No one is going to guard someone that is highly unlikely to shoot as well. So that would be reason #2 to sag off MR if he is standing outside the arc
-
That was my point. If he is a 25% shooter, why would anyone bother guarding him? If he is improving this offseason then great because it will help a lot.
-
he would have to shoot at a higher percentage for defenses to consider him a threat and that is all that matters.
