Absolutely, love him.  Gave me a Jason Kidd vibe.  Not saying as good, just that "type."  Strong, can get in the lane, good vision.

He is big ten ready physically

looks like a pg…always in control…patient.  Nice pull up jumper

    finishes through contact

    3point shot looks good

if X leaves wouldn’t be surprised if he pushes for starters minutes

Are my Wildcats the last small school to make the FF in a one class system?

But anyway I looked at our opponents in the tournament for that year('91).

    Sectionals

    FW Blackhawk  79-53

    Manchester  76-65

    Regionals

    FW South  75-72

    New Haven  73-72

    Semistate

    LaPorte  87-73

    Marion  67-58

    State

    Gary Roosevelt  53-83

And with that, Whitko's small school powerhouse status slowly disappeared.

You had a lefty guard who went to Michigan State?

No orange and navy blue colored glasses in this lol. I would drop Purdue down to third, and fourth fifth and sixth would be a combo of the Badgers, Illini and the Hoosiers. The rest i probably agree with you on. Also i think you guys have more potential without Curbelo.

Has Maryland turned it around under Manning?

    iowa actually plays defense….top half?

    is Minnesota for real?

Found this tidbit this morning per CBS:

    • It took Purdue 380 weeks in the AP poll to finally get to No. 1. Here are the five programs with the most poll appearances without getting to the top: Maryland (433), Utah (239), Minnesota (236), LSU (216), Vanderbilt (204). All have been No. 2.

Neil Armstrong spent more days in space than Purdue did at #1😳🥳

    Not upset about it!

Played CO-REC ball with father back in the day….heard there was a real chance earlier this year he was committing.
Totally understand local kids who go away for college like Rob did(still surprised he isn’t a better player)

The point guard situation next year will be drastically different next year. I mean we likely will lose both point guards and would have no true point guard on the roster besides Lander. JHS and Bates are both combo guards and we would likely start all 3. That said we might go into the transfer portal because I’m not sure Without improvement Lander can be trusted. He just looks like he is just floating along like a butterfly out there on the court. No true focus just fluttering around aimlessly.

Of all the things a player could post this seems pretty tame

gotta think no matter what you bring in a veteran PG.  it’s all setup for Lander to take over…

You obviously don't have a clue how tax abatements work.  The taxes "spent" on that project were rebated sales taxes generated after the project was up and running.

If you're going to come here laugh at and insult a worldview and religion you disagree with, at least stick to the facts.  In my opinion, this crap has no more business in a sports forum than partisan politics.

Always laugh at anyone who believes the earth is less than 10,000 years old

I gotta be honest, and to be clear this isn't a commentary on Mike Woodson nor a clamor to have Crean back, but when I see clips or old games from '11-'13 and the '15-'16 teams, I sometimes think Crean wasn't so bad.

Those teams were so fun to watch and IMO are right up there with all the other fun, talented teams IU has had that didn't quite win titles.

    I miss those teams.

I heard he was difficult to deal with…

injuries really derailed a potentially great team

Just  saying I know about those teams even though I never saw those teams.

1940 I had always heard Purdue turned down the bid as big ten champs (NIT was bigger?). Just read on Wikipedia that IU was offered over Purdue as being the best representative of the Midwest

Trivia Question:  smallest school ever to make sweet 16 was in 1953…453 students

There will be nothing civil about the beat down the Hoosiers will bestow upon Merrimack.  I will be glued to my Monitor as I watch IU bomb 3's like cannonballs falling into the sea. This will be an iron Clad victory for the Hoosiers

Nice…ship became the CSS Virginia which was scuttled at James Madison

Yeah you guys definitely do wilt against them, your team did again tonight.

No way Rutgers fears any Purdue player that’s not Ivey or a center

Rutgers beat the #1 team with one scorer and no highly ranked recruits.

PS. Loss is my fault for playing Pub trivia instead of watching at home….”it’s Rutgers…they lost to Lafayette…we got this”

    got this shoved

    Not elite athletically?   Disagree.

To me oladipo or Ivey are elite athletes ….too 1%

IU has some great to elite athletes on this years team.  TJD23, JG22, X

I honestly don’t think Purdue has one after Ivey

Little has a lot too like

I actually like him more than Cupps
