Good riddance to Arizona. Annoying coach, annoying team.
Obviously there's no danger in his job but besides our friends in West Lafayette has any other team or program performed worse with being seeded so high each year in past few seasons?

Are you talking about Zeke Mayo? I see that he grew up in Lawrence so that would be logical.
Probably him as well but I'd be shocked if Self wasn't all over AJ.

Caleb Love. 0-9 from 3 and 1 assist and 3 turnovers.

Anyone know anything about this Ben Humrichous? Spelling....kid from Evansville.
Glad to hear we are in on this kid. When he entered this morning I thought what am I missing here??

Just my two cents on marketing. MLB is missing a major window early today. One nationally televised game (up against Sweet 16) and everything else is just starting.
Maybe it's the traditional homer in me but I always felt like the Reds should open the season.....why not have them and a few other games at 1:05 with no competition. Make it an all day thing?

A buddy just texted me that he thinks Tucker committing means Mbako is gone. But I don't think that is the case at all, right?
I'm not anyone that is dialed in at all....but some combination of Portal PG or Guards to go along with TG, BT, MM, and MR is a pretty good but to your point I would think adding another guy like a Tucker only creates more space and more shots for MM. I would think he would want to come back once the NBA guys say one more year kid.

McDonald's All American game is Tuesday
Hasn't visited KU since Nov?
Not been to MSU since August?
And no other visits scheduled. This one sounds good. Kudos to Woodson. Getting out early this year on some of these guys. Would like to hold a couple of bullets in case the NBA testing guys come back and go portaling but so far so good.

And now Zeke Mayo is in portal. NBA or transfer. Word must be getting out the size of the bags available.

Worst kept secret in college hoops. Another one to watch is Dainja from Illinois. The whispers from Storr started in January...same whispers for Dainja. Not saying we would want Dainja but nonetheless.

I take it the coach has a son or two on the team? Regardless, that's ridiculous.
I'll find out but more than likely yes...or some kids parent has more juice and is getting more playing time. Been going on since the beginning of time but flying a banner over a high school game is next level petty.

I'm throwing this in here just because most eyes. So last night at Carmel baseball some kids parent or parents rented a plan and had a banner flying over the game saying Carmel Baseball is Daddy Ball.
On one hand it's not the first time parents get ticked over playing time for either favorites or perceived favorites. On the other hand....only at Carmel would a parent rent or use their own plane to do this move.

So is this Perkins only or more? Either is fine just asking for those that know more.

Your point could have easily been made without the first sentence and first full paragraph. 🤷🏻♂️
Wish that was true. So many people define their side or position in every day life and HSN is no stranger to that. Just really happy for KW and those around him. Made a move to come to IU and play for Coach Woodson and 10 months later it's going to be worth $10M+...

I think it's fair to give the IU coaches some credit. Ware alluded to it in his thank you. TJD has spoken openly about it as well.
Definitely should get credit.
I get people living in that all so famous phrase of their own echo chamber. We only believe or say or pass along in agreeance with what that individual thinks or wants to think. I get it and it's a shame.
With that said. Maybe it was being away from home. Maybe Altman just didn't know the buttons to push. Maybe Altman pulled an Underwood (Podziemski) and just didn't think he had it....either way anyone that can see a kid who still doesn't turn 20 until next month hasn't grown/matured/developed in his 10 months has zero ability to look past their own bias or beliefs on our staff.
Ware is another example of a kid under Woodson who has developed and will be pro ready.

Good luck to Ware. Kid was lost on the bench in Oregon....and now a 1st round pick in the NBA. Says plenty about the development we have at IU for players.

Oh look. Another thread with Woodson the headline....even in the Non IU College Basketball Thread.
PS. Pretty sure Hinkle is already sold out since ISU won last night.

my $.02 and NOT a banker. Dump the house, down size, use the cash to support each in retirement. and never ever ever get emotionally tied to a house ever again. Or wife as far as that goes, but that's a different discussion all together.. LOL
I wish....family has owned the land for 3 generations. Emotional and that land are two different silos. Haha.

How much actual equity is in the house? If the house is $500k, but there's a $400k mortgage on it, that's not a very big hurdle. "Non-resident" (soon to be) ex-spouse could be the new 2nd mortgage holder and take payments over a period of time at "X%" rate that "could be" lower than a mortgage banker. And would create an income stream for the ex-spouse. And the house would be collateral for the payout over specified time.
But if they insist on cash out refinancing, it's unlikely you'll find anything lower than current market rates. Even private mortgage lenders (I used to be one) charge a premium over mortgage companies and banks.
Ballpark value is $350k and no mortgage. It's their biggest asset with minimum savings...and only Social Security so trying to get $ out of the home to get it close to 50/50 division is the goal.
-
Any bankers or mortgage people on here? Wife has a client, home is largest asset...getting divorced but the only way to divide assets is either sell home (they don't want to do that) or do the cash out refinance...but does that mean the one staying in the home would have to refinance at current rates?

This seemed to come out of nowhere. Checks all the boxes we need. Hopefully we land him...and a few more like him.

I'm not the best guy to answer. Honestly I gave up trying to figure it out when we went fire sale mode. I'm looking at options again this year but haven't bought anything. The one time I did have YT TV I was in a Reds market so the games were all blacked out anyway. Good luck!
