So Hurley, Oates, and now Drew have said no. Tough to follow Cal for sure but if they swing and miss again?? Starting to look like the Carolina Daugherty search.

If he can't get the movement back he's of no use to us and I hope Jed doesn't wait until July to make moves we need soon like another starter and some bullpen help....otherwise all the pressure is on the offense.

I'm still ticked about Monday. In terms of last night I'll say this. Love and respect all the great years Hendricks gave us but why we thought a 3 year extension was in line after last year is puzzling. Could have used that $ for Snell or anyone else.

I'd say take a hard pass on that. Purdue stood by the kid after mistakes...and now he bolts? Seems to me something else is off.

Cool. So he loved his time so much at Purdue that he loved the idea of others getting the same experience so he decided what? Exiting stage left was the better part of valor?

Yep. With the exception of Hep for a bit and some Wilson stuff that I loved...I haven't been this excited about IU football during my lifetime.

The greatest 4 days in golf is upon us! Plenty of storylines coming as always. First the weather on Thursday. 1.5 inches of rain and gusts up to 40 or so. I expect a ton of higher pin placements which invites tons of problems.

If the rain causes delays the late guys will catch a break except for Tiger. Not sure if walking Augusta National for 27 holes on Friday is ideal.

Hard to go against Scottie right now....but I feel like Brooks and Rahm here the noise and want to silent folks.

I've hit my limit of entries on Fanduel....but core groups of Scottie, Brooks, Rahm....along with Cam Young/Smith, Henley, McCarthy and of course top 15 machine at Augusta Si Woo Kim.

So if my math is correct Indiana St is losing all 5 starters and several bench guys? Good luck to the new coach. Limited NIL $ in a tough conference...see them down the road.

Kind of a mess out at IMS. They only opened limited number of gates and the lines are getting longer and longer. That's about as close as I'll get to criticizing IMS but this isn't good.

Saw it when it first happened and was like when is MLB just going to put this guy out of his misery. At some point a player is just going to lose it and do something in the moment.

I think it's like his 3rd or 4th major screw up already this year and only a week in.

Glad we didn't rush into anything so far. Now we can see if any of the UK kids and potentially others want to actually know who their head coach will be next year.

When my nephew texted me last night I was like no way....but I think this is good for Cal and Kentucky. It wasn't going to end pretty either being fired or whatever. This way both sides can move along but man the potential domino effects in play are big.

If they hire Billy D it won't be big but if they tag any of the names being floated it could open and close as many as 5-6 jobs.

Don't quote me on this but I think the Maker's Mark Barrel Room has tickets going for $149...unlimited food and drink for 2 hours before and great seats. Seems like honestly a good deal.

Positive sign for those of us cheering for NC State. My buddy has been chasing NC State all tourney. Started with $50 for them to lose and been doubling back every game since. He just placed his loot on Purdue. Guaranteed loser.

Anyone ever eat at Edinburgh Diner? Have to head the Ville next week and I've been wanting to try their world famous Tenderloin. Just curious if it's as good as the reviews/photos look?

I thought Outman's was in.....phew. The Dodgers are stacked so any win vs them won't be treated like 1 of 162 games. 

What the early stuff is showing me is we have 5-6 very patient hitters who will wait for the chance to smash....and Lt Dan just keeps moving up my favorite player list.

I'm a big Tony Perkins fan, and while I know some look simply at the 3 point numbers, Tony brings 3 things we sorely lacked last year...Experience, leadership, and toughness...

Can't overlook intangibles when we're rating these kids...

I'll take any or all of them. Love Tony Perkins as well. The good news is we are headed in right direction for sure and despite the world ending stuff....it seems our staff sits in a good spot with recruits.
