Yankees started the season by losing to the Jays 3-2 in 10 innings. Yanks had a leadoff double in the bottom of the 9th and both Stanton and Judge looked foolish striking out. DJ hit a weak ground ball to end the inning. On the other hand, the Jays did what good teams are supposed to do, got the timely hit to push across the winning run in their top of the 10th. As a Yankee fan, I've seen this all too often......

I think his dad may have went or played at Iowa. Plus his father passed away last year unexpectedly and may want to come home.....

My lawn was fertilized a couple of weeks ago and man did the grass take off! I had to get out the lawn mower yesterday for the first cut of the year, Didn't know if the mower would start or not, but it fired right up. Love those Honda mowers.....

Lots of work in store for this ol' guy... Just ordered 30 bags of mulch to help a local HS FB team (guess who will be spreading it?)..... Need to do a lot of weeding in flower beds, last year seemed like a bumper crop Uggghh..... Prune the hydrangeas and re-plant some other bushes.... Take a break..... Phew!!!

I guess it had to happen sooner or later. Looks like the Yankees have buckled under the "Woke" crowd and have formed a New York Yankees Diversity and Inclusion Committee. I need a Woka-Cola....
