Going to be very ugly most likely but maybe this team has a miracle in it's back pocket.

Agreed not a disgrace, just a very disappointing program.

I've always like Auburn football, equal or second to IU football but with Pearl, I've adopted them as my second team in basketball and have watched as many games of theirs as IUs last couple of years. Hard to be an IU fan exclusively and know come March, either they're not dancing or if they do make it, they're not doing anything when they get there. Tonight, I was just indifferent when they lost. Been indifferent for past couple of years now. Losing is just the norm with this program and being that I was born in 1985, honestly, this program hasn't done much that I can remember besides a few Crean sweet sixteens, couple of Big Ten titles and getting hot, riding the wave to the title game in 2002. That's really it. To be an IU fan, man, the experience has been you better be extremely patient and don't have the sights set to high or your going to be disappointed. I'm not ditching IU and never will, not a quitter but..... frustrating, nevertheless.

Glad my second team (Auburn) will safely be in the tournament because IU won't be.

TCU punched their ticket in last night, Indiana can do the same tonight imo. Beat Rutgers and we're in imo. Committee isn't likely to leave a 19 win IU team out, for various reasons.

Been following this for awhile now and didn't think he was bluffing. The sanctions won't mean a thing to Putin/Russia.

Granted it's Woodson's first year, I don't think it can be fixed.

Two more winnable games (Minny and Maryland) left on the schedule imo.

The gauntlet continues. Only a slight bit of optimism and only because it's at home. Team needs at least two more wins to even have a prayer of making the tourney.

Really needed this one. Easiest games left are Rutgers & Maryland at home and on the road at Minnesota.

Isn't out of the question.

IU is more on the level of the third tier teams (Michigan and others) than the top tier. That said, win two more games and they will make the tournament most likely but that's going to be a tall order imo. Random thoughts......TJD struggles against legit post players his size and or bigger. The team plays better without him on the floor, which is odd. Several players just seemed flat, like others have mentioned. Team needs more size and shooters like I need Scarlett Johansson. It is what it is, wasn't expecting much this season anyhow.

Get to 18-19 wins, IU coasts into the tourney imo. If we surge ahead with a couple of extra wins, could see IU as a 6-7 seed. Right now 8-10 seed sounds about right and I'll take that.

Asking the football peeps, how bad does losing Kevin Peoples hurt?

Program has been on a steady downward spiral since after/around 1994. More or less around 30 years. My hope at this point is just make it to the tournament every couple of years and maybe win a game or two. Other than that, I don't have any expectations anymore to be honest, just easier that way. Hope they turn it around, but not holding my breath or going to over-invest.

They keep playing like today, you're going to be able to hibernate til after March. Starting to look like I'll be planning my fishing trips during March.

Team just lacks talent, guard play and shooting. Most of the guards on this team should be playing in the MAC or Sun Belt.

A Missouri QB has entered the portal.

I see the same thing with Lander out-performing Phinisee. I think Phinisee is just damaged goods at this point and should be behind Xavier, Stewart, Bates, Lander and Leal imo.

Worked late and missed this game. Had it recorded to DVR. Glad I missed it and don't have to watch it.

Turnovers killed us. Syracuse owns Indiana. The good news, this team has no quit, Woodson actually makes adjustments (whether the players execute or not...) and TJD may be the best player in the country. The guard play has got to step it up, the frontcourt (TJD, Race & Kopp) is really good. Also, Lander is better than Phinisee imo.

Hopefully we can shred this zone.
