  1. Problem is Mgbako hasn't done jack and isn't good. Would he replace Reneau? Who would be the other guard? Cupps? Deeply flawed team.
  2. Mackenzie could walk out with an eye patch and a peg leg and still start. He has been bad all year. Either it's Woodson's system or the player. I think it's Woodson's system.
  3. Sarratt is supposed to be visiting this week. Are we in the dead period for football? I would love to get him.
  4. I thought of CTC tonight as well. This whole program just seems plain lazy and pathetic.
  5. Penix has a lot of talent and Kalen Deboer is one of the best coaches in America.
  6. Sales to PU. That is how the the portal works best. We get rid of a player we don't need, another OL, and hopefully replace him with a better player for depth.
  7. Cignetti's strength and that of his staff is to get the best and most out of the players and to actual coach. JMU people would agree. He gets the most out of players. He actually has a long track record of success. If you are going to judge his system or his players he is bringing in based on one game, one in which he didn't even coach or prepare those players for, that comes across as trollish.
  8. Oh boy. Sounds like you are either having a bad week or don't know football. Merry Christmas and tomorrow the sun rises again.
  9. I think we continue to add as the bowl season plays out.
  10. Good points. Plus most of their coaches are here. It's not like JMU was able to prepare well. I think it would have been a different outcome if Cignetti and staff were still there and fully prepared. Carpenter and Sarrat could start for us tomorrow. The two LBs probably need to gain 10-15lbs and our strength and conditioning will do them well. They struggled this game. JMU just didn't look prepared on D or coached up. Bostad will coach up the left tackle. He may play guard or be a rotational guy.
  11. The state of South Carolina seems like such a backwater. I'm not sure there is a value play there for anybody. I bet the SEC would get rid of USC if they could.
  12. Thanks for the article. College sports are going to be changing so fast in the next few years that this Big 10/SEC stuff may not even matter. You better be able to compete in football to have a seat at the table with what is to come. Unfortunately for the Big 12 commissioner, basketball is undervalued because it is not very valuable.
  13. Cignetti's strength is coaching and getting the most out of his players. He probably doesn't need top recruiting classes to be successful with his system. That's why he wins and wins quickly.
  14. This is also another example of college football being king and why we need to get good at it fast or get left behind.
  15. I saw where one of the LBs for JMU shut down his recruitment. Hopefully one is him and the other LB for JMU. The DT Carpenter is pretty staunch too.
  16. Love them too. The Salute to Service uni is also pretty cool! I've never seen either available for sale.
  17. It's a whole new ball game. Production and fit is what matters. CCC taking some IU football fans kicking and screaming.
  18. This is fantastic! I haven't felt this good about a coaching staff in a long time. I think this will be one one of the best staffs we have had in a long time not including Womack and Deboer
  19. Helllll ya! We are winning NEXT YEAR!
  20. TJ is in a perfect spot if he has patience. Learn from a great QB friendly head coach and a successful QB coach. Plus he is probably all set with NIL. Then take over in 2025.
  21. We have A LOT of money to pay buy outs. It doesn't seem like we have any more money than other schools for other things.
  22. Seems like fans have gone through the seven stages of grief since BK was fired I think we have accepted just being mediocre. It's ok.
