IU Players Entering Transfer Portal

Hopefully CC is taking IU football fans kicking and screaming into a winning football program. -
IU Players Entering Transfer Portal
Common Sense replied to KDB's topic in General Football Discussion
He would be a waste at IU. We need Big 10 caliber players and recruits to compete. Be better for Carpenter to go to one of the smaller schools that recruited him, start sooner and build some numbers and then possibly portal to a bigger school with a need and NIL. -
POLL: Who do you want as the next IUFB HC?
Common Sense replied to KDB's topic in General Football Discussion
1. Willie Fritz- probably no chance, Houston job, hasn't even been in contact, too far north, etc. 2. Jason Candle -
I am desperate and want to hang with the cool kids. I would take 8-4 or 9-3. 😜

IU Players Entering Transfer Portal

Glad to see Dexter Williams leave with an IU degree in hand. That is what it is all about anyway. Congrats to him and his family. Sorsby could be a really good quarterback. He should probably wait to see who the new coach is before jettisoning off the Cincinnati or another MAC level program, which he probably is. -
Bucket Game 2023 Game Thread

I heard that too. Outside of McCulley and Lucas, I'm not sure which IU players would fetch a hefty amount on the open NIL market. I wouldn't mind getting a whole new staff and 50 new players on the roster via via portal and recruiting ala Colorado. -
A coach who can have a competent offense and put a ton of points on the board.

Bucket Game 2023 Game Thread

We will find out how much IU cares about football. With the landscape of college sports, it better be a hell of a lot. -

Yep. He will probably be player of the year this year. He just needs the right situation or a good agent like tjd. -
This team may struggle to get to 12 wins this year. They will beat the cupcakes but struggle against most other power 5 teams.
-
IU doesn't have the interest in football to get rid of TA.
-
The three teams that we have beaten this year and struggled against are a combined 1-10. 🤮
-
Bad feeling about this one. It will be like the KU game last year. Hope I'm wrong.
-
Though he was a good leader, Kopp was not very productive statistically the last two years. Less than at NW. Wonder if there is any correlation to MM's struggles and how we use the 3 in our offense.
-
Just looked at our future opponent UConn to see how many they have shot in their two blowout victories. They average 27-28 attempts through their first two games compared to our 12. I think we even hit at a better percentage. Kansas averages 26 attempts. These two teams shoot almost twice as many as we do.

Survived the hangover game from our FGCU upset victory the other night.

2024 PG Daquan Davis Commits to Florida State

If you accept a job with one company and then another company comes and offers you more money and a better chance for growth and advancement, shouldn't you have the right to accept the better job? -

Verbal commitments aren't worth the paper they are printed on. -

Playing in big name exhibition games against good teams will make you better, excite your fanbase heading into the season and is great publicity. I think that's the point. -
We didn't compete against OSU. We had 153 yards of total offense and played to keep the game close.
-
You aren't one of the worst football teams in power 5 without checking many, MANY boxes. The blame starts and ends with Allen.
-
Coaching.
-
Yep, mentioned on Alabama boards once Saban retired IF Allen continued success.

Payton Sparks Commits to Indiana
Common Sense replied to KDB's topic in General Basketball Discussion
If Chris Webber and Thomas Bryant had a child it would be Payton Sparks. Great pick up this Summer.
