The visits last the better part of three days. They (probably) won't get here until this afternoon 55-60. Plus tomorrow gorgeous and the same with Sunday, though, they'll only be here for the first half the day (usually).
I thought Rice was only for a day

That was just a matter of time
If we get Rice and Carlyle how would that effect getting another guard like Hickman or Conwell

Pope is different like Drew is. Hes a god first guy. He might not be a fit either as strange as that sounds. Mormon at a Mormon school. I know if and when BD turns it down(he may not even be offered) they will be deep in tier 2-3 territory.
I know at BYU they don't play on Sundays so would Pope coach a game Sunday at UK

At least the Reds didn't lose to the Brewers today, got rained out. In the three games our pitching gave up 24 runs. At least we won a game in.tbe series 10-8

Bowl of Rice
Maybe we can find a guard in the portal whose last name is Beans so our backcourt could be Rice and Beans

Scott i usually think you're crazier than a pet racoon but you have always stood by your stance that P6 coaches don't want to leave for other school even for big money. And 10mil+ a year being thrown around by UK is big money.
I crazier than a wild raccoon. With Drew it sounds more it is his family didn't want to move. I guess their airplane had to be diverted to another airport because there was to many media and fans at the original airport. The wife didn't want to deal with that much if a circus.
So next time we have an opening don'r expect Scott Drew to be the next coach.

Listening to 107.5 a little awhile ago and they had a guy on that has a radio show down in Kentucky. He was actually the most sensible UK guy O have ever listened to. He said the main reason Drew turned down the job was that his wife didn't think she could handle the circus around UK basketball. This guy also said that UK fans needs to stop being delusional in thinking UK can just pick whatever coach they want.

It just shows you even the bluest of blue bloods are having trouble getting their top choices.

I think he had an honest discussion about what their minutes would look like next year and let them decide.
So what would happen if they said the were coming back for their 5th year. Maybe Painter doesn't believe in having players stay for 5 years.

Gillis was doing very well for himself NIL-wise and every Purdue fan has known since the year started that Morton and Gillis weren’t coming back to use their Covid year. Gillis wants to play more and will get that chance someplace else. That’s all it is lol. Purdue has yet to lose a current player because of NIL concerns.
You think Painter pushed them to that decision

Reminds me of growing up with IU fans
Any conversation they were losing would result in BANNERS!!!!
or
Cow College
or
Ugly Coeds
Better than Purdue fans chanting IU sucks at every game. It was so embarrassing your fan base did this at the watch party for the championship game

Won’t get both. Rice is my pick.
I rather have Rice due to experience and probably being here more than one year

They've got a better chance of getting Mark Few out of Spokane than getting Stevens, and they could throw Fort Knox at Few and he ain't budging.
I can say Mark Few won't be going to UK if what DD said yesterday was true. DD was talking to Few a while ago at the FF and asked him about the IU job. Few said he wouldn't ever want to coach there because the people in Indiana is crazy. If he says that about OU wonder what he thinks about people in Kentucky

After the first round I was 25th and finished 5th

Luther Vandross’s version of One Shining Moment is the best version, and second isn’t close. Fight me.
I take the original version. I love One Shining Moment but it is sad when it ends. Now it is another 7 months until college basketball comes back

Reds almost blew an 8-0 lead after the 4th inning. They ended up winning 10-8
De La Cruz hit a 460 ft homer and an inside the park homer

The Kitty Kats are in talks with Beard. And here we are stuck with a 70 year old bottle of whiskey and a Dominican cigar.
Nver would want Beard to coach at my school

We only done that once so you got us there 2 to 1 but we still lead 5-0 in the important category

You all know I don't do advanced metrics.Tony Aldragna was on Assembly Call and said Rice's offensive efficiency was 105 last year and JHS efficiency his freshman year was 94
