  1. I don't think we want to bring in another big who is a low post player especially if we still start two bigs. I think a guy like Bradshaw might fit what we  need and that is a rim runner and a guy who scored off offensive rebounds. I don't know if we need a Payne or Ballo type unless they come as a backup. Those two aren't going anywhere to be a backup

So you're telling me that you would rather have Gabe Cupps as your starting pg over an extremely talented future nba player? Even if it is only for 1 season? We must not watch the same games. From what I saw all season Indiana Basketball is desperate for an elite point guard.

Maybe he is talking about Rice or Carlyle from the portal

There really is no rivalry any more. Purdue IS Indiana basketball now. Remember when Kentucky raced past us in the mid nineties and never looked back?

Purdue is now doing the same thing. What's even more sad is that, just like then, they don't care.

You aren't fooling anyone, everyone knows you are a Purdue troll. You need to get a life if you don't have any thing better to do than be in a rivals message board.

I would include Pitino, undoubtedly, but Roy Williams would be the poster child. He even went blue blood to blue blood.

I think if Williams wasn't an alumni and a former assistant he wouldn't have left KU for UNC. He is the best example of this

It’s rare for a coach to jump from one blue blood to another. Out of the historic powers, there’s only been one coach to coach at more than one: Larry Brown, UCLA and Kansas.

Brown didn't go from UCLA to KU. He went to the NBA after UCLA

  6. Reds are struggling with another LH starter pitcher. This has been a problem for the last couple of years. Instead of having Benson, Farley and Martini we have Fairchild, Bubba Thompson and Espinal in the lineup.

Feel bad for Reds reliever Tejay Antone who missed most of the last two years with an arm injury just had to leave the game

I’m not convinced we need an upgrade at corner at all.  Flowers’s was playing really well until he got hurt.  The two rookie corners played well after Flowers got hurt and we still have Moore.  Allow the two rookies room for some offseason growth and they may have four good corners there.  Would I be shocked if they used an early pick on a corner?  No.  But I didn’t see corner as a must need like some do.  I’m interested to see how this year goes with the group we have.  I do think your concern at the safety position is a fair one.

You really trust a CB coming off an Achilles injury. Also Brent's missed a lot of time with I juries as well. I also feel we need another veteran WR to go with Pittman and Downs. Also want to draft a WR high in the draft.

Either Purdue is going to win or UCONN is going to surpass us.

Indiana deserves both. What a dysfunctional mess it has been for 30 years. Thats not one president or AD. That not one sset of BOT's. Thats an entire university, its culture, its mindset and its values.

A deep thorough cleaning of house and covid level sanitizing is needed.

    We get it

    The complaints are wild.

We need safeties-- signed one of the best on the market.

We need a vet corner- signed one of the best on the market.

We need DT2-DT4-- a grouping of Stewart, Davis, and Bryan is very good.

We had to resign Pitt/Taylor got that done.

    Extended Franklin.

We still need upgrades at the safety and the CB position. We remained status quo and haven't improved from last year. I can't believe there are many out there that can still back the job that Ballard has done. At least where I read or listen to I don't see many who thinks Ballard should have his job. I backed him until he traded for another aging QB in Matt Ryan. He came out after the trade and said it only took him an hour of watching film to realize that Ryan was the right guy.

The only numbers I care about is 54-60-1, no division championships, 1 playoff win

At least he is having a good time...

So are coaches not allowed to have any free time. I remember an interview with the Oakland coach after they beat UK. He talked about much golf he plays throughout the year and he said he probably plays more golf than any coach out there.

Keep telling yourself that. Indiana had 30 years to get their act together before Purdue finally put it together.

Why are you on a IU message board while your team is playing in the final four. Does Purdue not have their own board.

Purdue will probably guard Burns like MR.  TKR with a guard digging or Zach waiting on baseline side

people act like he is Zion or Barkley

I would put Edey on Burns and not double team him. State is at their best when you double Burns and he passes out to their guards
