I prefer Giordanos, Ginos East and Lou Malnatis in that order. Years ago, my office was across the street from a Home Run Inn and we would hit up their lunch buffet. My kids like Home Run Inn more than I do. Beggars is a good one too.
Mile, have we got your mouth watering yet?
Making me homesick. Love Home Run. Can get it in the freezer counters at the local grocery stores. Always cut it into squares.
And have ordered from Malaniti's for years. Up to four at a time. Just to have some in the freezer, when a deep dish hankering hits. Kind of pricey. But worth the price, IMHO.

Are you suggesting diminished trade value and they would take me up on my offer?
Just here for informational purposes.
After an injury plagued season, Gary Harris is struggling to finish at the rim - Denver Stiffs
I don't follow the NBA. However, I do follow our home town team.

Wonder if Denver would give us Gary Harris for 3 2nd Rounders?
Harris missed 23 games for the Nuggies last season. Three separate times. For three separate injuries.

I was interested in him because he can block shots and shoot from the perimeter but found out his medical wasn’t clean and heard he was down to 208...think he has lost 30lbs since the injury.
Currently, the Nuggets are strong up front. According to the article, sounds like the Nuggets have no problem with giving Bol time to work on his medical condition.

Not one to frequent this thread, much. However, I am curious as to all you fans of the NBA feel about this pick :
Nuggets Land High-Upside Center Bol Bol At No. 44, Continuing Opportunistic Draft Strategy
I'll be back to check.

This is part Pet Peeve, part just pisses me off. Was at the grocery last night. Walking from the parking lot to the front door. A car pulls into the handicap space closest to the front door. there is a handicap tag hanging from the rear view mirror. However, does a handicap person step out of the car? No, 4 perfectly healthy teenage girls pile out. Now, I have no reason to believe that the handicap tag was not needed for that car. It's very likely someone that regularly drives the car needs it. However, the group that used the tag last night to secure a front parking space did not have have anyone that required it/ Just because you have the tag does not mean you get to use it if it's not needed.
I've regretted all day not saying something to the girls.
Good dear friend of ours. A few years back. Was issued a handicapped placard. Due to impaired vision. Restricted to only day driving. Just good enough to legally drive in the state of Colorado, during daylight hours. So the state issued her a handicapped placard.
Was confronted one day by a very obnoxious lady, when our friend was asked what was wrong with her. And I will never forget our friends response : " I can't see".
Bottom line, and I am not saying this is the case in your situation. However, there are all kinds of reasons why a person can be issued a handicap placard.

Depends on day and time. Law and Order reruns on WE happen on Tuesday and Wednesday along with Sunday so I usually try to find the episode I like best. Of course POP TV has Beverly Hills 90210 reruns M-F from 11-3 so I usually do one of those depending on episode. Comedy Central runs The Office often so if I can find an hour I'm good. Otherwise...especially during this past season I watch an IU game on the elliptical. Takes the tension off.
I don't know that I have ever watched Law and Order. My son loves Comedy Central.
Here's an evil thought. As the 80 year old guy who gets there first. And ask him what tv shows he hates. Then get there first one day. And play his least favorite tv show. LOL

People who back into parking spaces. If I ever run for president, my entire platform will be centered on making it a felony to back into parking spaces. I realize there could potentially be a benefit to it, but I'm sorry to the 5% that can successfully do it, but the other 95% that try to and can't are ruining it for you. No more!!!!
Must be relying on their backup cameras. Conversely. Not a pet peeve. But when I pull into a parking lot. Say like at Home Depot. I always pull to the other side. So that when I leave, I don't have to back out.

My hood has a small gym at the clubhouse. Nothing fancy. 8-9 machines. 3 TV's,etc....and there's an unwritten code whoever gets there first can control the tv/sound,etc...I've been forced to watch house rehab shows, anything on bravo many, many times over the last 10 years. But my peeve is this. At least turn the volume up. Nothing worse than watching a show at the gym AND you can't hear what the people are saying. There's one guy who is a rock, early 80's so I want to be careful but he likes to watch CSPAN. With no volume. To the point now when I walk in and see him I do an about face.
So that leads me to question. Should you get there first, and have control of the tv's, what would you watch ?

Robocalls.
Prior to Wednesday of last week, when the government finally announced they will be cracking down on robocalls, I would get multiple daily robocalls. Since then I have gotten only one robocall. It turned out to be legit. It was from Kroger, telling us we had bought two items from King Soopers, that were being recalled due to contamination. As it turned out, we had already consumed them.

What kind of outdoor setup do you have the TVs in? I’d love to have something like that for events like this.
Nothing special. There are tv's that are out door tv's. That are weather proof. But cost thousand's of dollars. I just take a small tv, from my office, that has ROKU, outside, and place it on a patio table. It's light. I can bring it in when the weather gets bad, or at night.
Hope you are having a great Memorial Day Weekend, BBQ. So glad you are a member.
By the way, the steaks were great.
