Romeo shouldn't have gone to college at all. Romeo also should have been done at IU as soon as he was hurt in Nov, few dudes are tougher then that cat.

I feel you on Watford. I think I would have him over Morgan now that you mention it.

    "TRAILER"!!!!

Completely agree on Romeo. Lots of things that were out of his control went wrong for him at IU. He played through more than he had to and really seems to like IU.

  2. I’ll be doing some cooking for the race this weekend.
Anyone ever done beef tongue? The last few years we’ve gone in on a quarter beef and got the tongues. The plan is to trim it (mostly of the ‘tongues’ exterior), smoke it to get some bark and cooler, then braise and shred it for something like barbacoa.

It will be a small group so I like to test out some things for bigger cookouts. Any suggestions?

If you want to see UK fan-level stupid, this is the forum:

I know @Stlboiler23 will tell us this isn't really representative of Turdue fans, but what a great public impression these morons make.  I swear, TwinDegrees must have one in janitorial studies and the other in binary counting.

It’s always weird to me when they talk about IU “tanking the careers of 5 stars” like it is the whole program and not 1 person.

Even here last season most people were willing to admit PU should have had a really good team. They can’t fathom anything positive happening for IU.

I was with some linemen the other day and I ask them why no spring game. The answer was CTA with a new offensive and new D he didn't want to show what they were going to do. I laughed because after one quarter of play its out there. They also said they were going to shock the world. I said that wouldnt be hard to do. lol. They love the new staff and were for sure, they would be bowl bound in the end. they called one of the new running backs special. Cant remember which however.

Was it Jaylin Lucas? I think he’s the Fr RB that had some hype.

I heard an interview with Allen where he said he didn’t want any film out there before week 1. I know it’s all out there after 1 quarter but no reason to give more before the first quarter that counts.

Anyone else found the "This old House Makers Channel"? I found it on Roku.

This is going to be time consuming !

I love watching TOH when it’s on. My wife…not so much.
I’m pretty sure my dad still has the coffee mug with the plain house that has color added when you put a hot drink in it.
Last time I checked there were a bunch of episodes of The New Yankee Workshop on YouTube.

It’s a good one. Old Feed Mill restaurant is pretty good (a little overrated imo, but still good).

There is another distillery that is in the outlet mall. Have a good variety that doesn’t taste like flavored medicine (fruit stuff), but my favorite of theirs is called Butter Cake. It’s like drinking a hard vanilla cupcake. Very dangerous lol.

I think we ate at a pottery cafe type place.

Does the one you’re talking about by the outlets have a number in the name? I think we stopped there at one point.

Grolsch Pilsner is really good, had that on the cruise ship. Other picture is of arguably my all time favorite drink, Coffee Moonshine from Ole Forge Distillery in Pigeon Forge, TN.

The whole Old Forge area is really cool. We did the tasting there last fall and ate at a smaller restaurant in the area.

Warmer weather means more grilling and smoking time. Need to give the grill and smoker a good scrubbing before heavily using it again.

Really want to perfect smoking a brisket, but wifey is not a big fan of brisket so it’s hard to justify spending that much on one if she’s barely going to eat it. Can’t wait ti experiment with pork loins either. Made a spicy one that everyone loved last year, brining it with some jalapeños and it’s juice.

Hoping to expand my knowledge of other meats this year. Need to get better at pork butts (It’s fine, but just feel I’m missing something), and I’ve never done chicken wings.

Sometimes you can get just a flat or point and they aren’t too big.
I’ve also had some luck smoking chuck roast like a brisket. They also make great burnt ends.

Adidas gave Romeo's dad money for his AAU team and DD called it cheating while always calling Romeo the shoe guy. Just DD being his dick self.

Thanks. I vaguely remember that now. I don’t think I’d call it a black eye on IU.

I think you're pretty off here.

    Barnes > Painter

Purdue and UT are pretty on par.

He may not care about close to home, he did leave for Kansas once and he is mostly looking at things far from home.

Do we even know the Weber thing happened? If it did, do we think he cares?

He is leaving a situation he got as many shots as he wanted. He seems motivated by other things.

I think we can use the PU question about Tom Crean here. They like to argue he never did anything without Wade, but what has Painter done without Carsen Edwards?

The biggest things they have going for them regarding Pack is that they’re close to home and will give a guard the green light and never switch it.

Its been a thing for them in both sports. 🤷‍♂️

Was it Taylor in football? Always curious when someone knows where they’re going the minute they enter the portal.

I remember when I was involved in D3 sports seeing an athlete post on social median that he heard from Purdue about them wanting him to compete there. 😂

Yeah him mentioning Nike was interesting.. I believe this one comes down to NIL… beating out Oregon for NIL might be tough.

I think I’d take the angle of exposure. Oregon may have  NIL opportunity, but how many people watch OU basketball? At IU he’d get some prime time games that could pay off long term in building a brand.

I read it and thought. "Nice, good for him. Solid hire by Butler."

My natural reaction to most things usually doesn't have a Dakich flare to it. 🤷‍♂️

Think he takes a break from his Mike Woodson smear campaign to talk about any of this?

In a week we went from “no one knows what Marta’s role is and Woody doesn’t use him anyway” to him leaving is a major issue.
