Going to be a long season.

Doesn't matter who we play, where we play or when we play. Indiana football sucks and the coaching/leadership sucks even more.   After the season is over and players jump off the sinking ship we are in for a rough couple of years. 

I was at the casino with my wife. Today was the second time ever she saw me cry!

I loved Coach and everything he stood for. It's a damn shame his return was when Miller was the Coach.

Thank you Coach Knight for everything you did for Indiana basketball and for me!

R.I.P.! Condolences to the Knight family, his friends and his former players.

Sorry to hear this but thank God that you are recovering. Praying for your continued improvement and and recovery.

You have to look at the person who did the hiring and for giving him that ridiculous extension/buy out without any wording in the contract about wins and losses. If I were an athletic director performance on field/court would be the determining factor as to whether a coach would get extensions, buyouts or keep their jobs.

I would save him until we get a coaching staff that has some clue as to what they are doing. We don't want another Michael Penix situation where he gets hurt then transfers and becomes a star.

I have a feeling there will be a mass exodus of players if Allen is allowed to come back. 

The product on the field is garbage and the coaching staff is directly responsible for it.

I am not sure they win another game this year with Allen. He should be kicked to the curb no later than tomorrow.

At this time the whole team sucks, led by incompetent coaching. Dolson was an idiot to sign Allen to that contract. Allen is at best a high school coach and has no business coaching at the D-1 level. This game will be similar to the Miami-Denver game last week with Indiana being Denver. The difference is we are not good enough to score 20 points.

Well, I just got home from hiking with my wife and then the casino so I didn't see the game.

Am I glad we won and played better? Heck yes! Do I think we have turned a corner? I hope so, but I have my doubts.

My being negative is no different than every time we win a game some of you think the ship has been righted. 

When we suck, we suck! We we play good, we play good! I see both sides and comment accordingly.

Woodson has never been my pick as coach (not that it matters to anyone) and today's results does not change that one bit. 

Give me some long term improvement and maybe I will feel different about him but so far he hasn't done enough to change my opinion.

Sorry my thoughts on Woodson don't mesh with yours. Your opinions on him are as important to you as mine are to me. Unfortunately we don't see things the same way.

I agree that Dolson won't do anything about Woodson for couple years. Woodson was and is the wrong guy. Maybe he was the best option at the time. Hopefully Woodson quits but I have zero confidence in Dolson/Indiana hiring someone who can  lead this program. You can't fix stupid!

I agree totally. You think this year is bad, wait until next year. TJD, Race, Kopp, X and possibly JHS will be gone. Who on this team is going to replace them? Are the players coming in going to fill that void? Is our coaching staff good enough to build a quality team on both sides of the ball? 

The answer is NO! An incompetent athletic director hires mediocre coaches and unqualified coaches and this is the kind of trash football and basketball you get.

Didn't watch the game because I am tired of incompetent coaching and of losing. Woodson is a as bad as Allen. 

I did check the score and saw we were getting stomped and I wondered the same thing about Fife.

You can blame the administration all you want, but when the incompetent athletic director hires incompetent coaches you get garbage football and basketball.

Indiana is the bottom feeders of the conference and in my opinion there is nothing bright or positive about the future.

Woodson couldn't carry Painter's jockstrap!

At least there is one good team and coach in men's basketball in Indiana.
