    Big  1G looks over rated. Hope we find out IU UNDER RATED! Really hope IU competes every game!  Tonight gives us a hint! Improve every week go deep in March to MAKE APRIL!!

    Now, I'm not directly comparing this team to the 1975 team, but they did something last night that was typical in most of the 75 teams game...they crushed NIU's spirit in the first 15 minutes with their defense, and from there, the other team simply wanted the game to be over and to get the hell out of AH. If only we had a Steve Green (the most underrated player ever at IU IMHO...God knows what numbers he would have put up with a 3 point line...pretty much automatic from each deep corner)...

    And I know he shot the doughnut on offense, but a shout-out to Parker Stewart...the Hankerson kid came in averaging 28 ppg after one game, and left averaging 15.5 ppg with Parker taking him on early and setting the tone...

    Love Tamar Bates...the enthusiasm, the way he lets the game come to him, and his defense is really good...stays in front of his guy always...

    And it was very cool at the end when they were trying to get Duncomb some points...this team genuinely pulls for each other, and has great chemistry...

    Thanks Coach Woody, for putting the fire back in this program...

     

    Steve Green was the reason I have always had the 75 being better than the 76 team.

    I never heard much about this game as I was over seas and I do remember the Downing Walton foul! As I was lucky enough to have a radio at my side!

Kinda like we have been yelling at IU the the last decades! But I took notice! Been a Hoosier Basketball fan ever since! And yes I remember George McGinnis, awesome player!

    I lived just down the road from Tri state! In 71 ( Trine) Had a cousin going there at that time! I was just Graduating from Dekalb HS! Small world! Roy Charleswood came out of Ashley at that time!

    Second year, Big 10 title and a Final 4. I kinda knew we had something special!

    Got to listen to IU -UCLA FINAL4 ! IN THE ARMY AND STILL THINK IU GOT SCREWED!!!   The Downing 4th instead of Walton's 4th!! 1st of many Screw jobs! Should have been IU's 3rd TITLE!!! Still believe it to this DAY!! But I wear Rose colored glasses!!🏀

    Been a great start for CMW!! AND STAFF!! To all of you that bring your insider info You people are the reason why I and I'm sure so many look at recruiting everyday and sometimes HOURLY!! Right or a change of heart by a teen you folk pass info that I love too see who the players of the future will be!! Thanks again!!🏀 Don't let a few run you guys off! Keep the info coming!!!

    Guys I know we have a way's to go! But most of my life we were a laughing stock at football! Coach Allen has

    IU pointing up! When IU Rose Bowl team 1967 I thought we were on the right path!! Maybe with luck Coach will take IU to the top again!! If not I will not be around for the next chance!! GO IU

    I am happy with the game thus far, but we are kinda beating Sister Mary of the Poor

    Trying to say Iowa loss was not as bad as it seems!!! We have a lot of new going on (coaches ,players, rust on QB, But if I REMEMBER RIGHT IU WAS A Sister of the poor for most of my life!!! From a Dekalbhoosier😏!!
