  1. when you turn the ball over 20+ times and do not execute plays after timeouts it'll be hard to beat any mid to higher end D1 team.
  2. Will be a good test. I expect us to cover the spread at 6.5(Favor of IU) by 2 or 3 points
  3. Fingers crossed. Would be a nice addition for our guards considering what could happen with Transfer Portal.
  4. I won't be too concerned unless we continue to be beat what should be cupcakes wins by only single digits. With that being said, returners from last year that played last night shot 1-9 from three, ouch!?!?!?!?!? Parker Stewart was 50% from 3 ball however which was nice to see. Need to be close to 33% on the three ball and hit your dang free throws. I'd make them boys run stairs in AH for each missed FT. I wont be worried unless were 6 or 7 games in against cupcake teams and were playing like this night in/night out
  5. Try chipping with a TE or a RB maybe? Mix in different protection changes at line of scrimmage pre-snap? A few to name. Regardless, lots of improvements needed across all levels
  6. Making adjustments is part of the game across the board for anyone regardless if your on the field or in the press box. We weren't winning the game anyways
  7. starts with the OL coach. If you continue to struggle with blocking then OC needs to make more adjustments than just bubble screens.
  8. If Sheridan calls more bubble screens or a similar game like last week, our season is a wash. You have to push the ball downfield.
  9. I need to find me some Fig Newtons today to eat while i watch his announcement.
  10. seems like a common theme from recruits comments. CMW is connecting and connecting in a BIG way. That goes a long way. IMO he's exceeding expectations off the floor, we're about to see on court actions here soon.
  11. The colts lack transparency. Its a huge problem.
  12. I see your point, I really do. His focus isn't solely on basketball, rather focused on models, social media, etc but at the same time its hard to win games when your battling injuries nightly too and constantly having to game plan nightly. Warren is injure prone, as is Brogdon, as is LeVert and hate to say it but Turner has had his fair share of injuries too. That's four of your top 5 guys. Yes they happen but Pacers have had issues with injuries alot. Pacers aren't a top FA destination and will never be in the future unless ownership changes and still at that I doubt that happens. They either hit via the draft or make a trade for an all star level type player. It'd be a risk for Indy to obtain him for sure. But is it a risk to continue with the "same" squad or very similar squad knowing that injuries will be a major impact to the season? Injuries are inevitable, they happen. Big question is, do you continue to run it back or make a swing for an all star level type of player? Not just speaking for Ben here, but any potential all star or sure fire all star that is.
  13. Ryan Kelly's cleat blew out during a play, that's why he left the field according to Coach Reich. Maybe he was blowing smoke but that's at least what was reported towards end of game.
  14. I mean if that's what it takes to win games then sure. Or risk his FT % issues
  15. surround Ben with shooters and he'll do just fine.
  16. If Clowney clowns us and decides to stay home(can't fault a kid for this), with how this staff has done thus far I have no concern that they would work the transfer market and find a big that would come in and contribute in more ways right out of the gate than Clowney would in his first year at IU. I still think Clowney is a Hoosier.
  17. by adding Clowney(assuming) per 247, it moves us into #5 for class rankings. I would assume we end up with a top 15 recruiting class when it's all said and done.
  18. Ballard is an upgrade over Grigson, is he a top 10 GM in our league yes IMO but from high praise that every is stating he should be doing better overall. BUT the talent he has missed on are positions that you just can't miss. Campbell(Ballard) vs Dorsett(Grigson) is one example. Rock Ya-Sin(Ballard) is another that is big miss. Turray along D-line is another.
  19. we take two steps forward with our moves this offseason and then take one step back with two idiots.
  20. was recently working out with Carmelo Anthony recently. Carmelo connection working out great thus far.
  21. Danica Patrick got the best of Mr Rodgers
  22. set the edge, no 50+ yard td runs please
