  1. This was taken in Feb 2020, little man is much bigger and more sassy(just like his momma) as the weeks progress lol. Child #2 on the way March 2021
  2. J. Michael of the Indy Star was told the reason for this hire was: Due to " Adaptability".
  3. haha figured I'd change it up with all the Vic news circling around. Ballard has been spot on with stock pilling draft picks. I think they are close, with a few changes I think they are contending with Chiefs and others for top 3 in AFC
  4. Colts have 1 pick in each round for 2021 as of now.
  5. Barry Jackson is a writer that covers teams sports for teams in Miami.
  6. Finch or Billups is my pick. I saw/heard Dan Burke will not be returning. Not sure on Popeye Jones. Bill Bayno apparently travels to and from with Sabonis quite often throughout the offseason so I would say he stays on the roster. If D'Antoni is brought in, the personnel could then be added for support. I'd go: Finch, Billups then D'Antoni. Finch has been around for a bit but is very much a players coach from readings I have found. Billups is a wild card here since he's not been coaching but is a somewhat recent player. D'Antoni, well you know what you get with him(almost seems like fun regular season b-ball and a total wild card come playoffs.
  7. yup That is what I saw in the new CBA for NFL
  8. true he did, may not be the best teammate, however, Gase didn't agree with Jamal Adams(a potential HOF safety down the road) and he's driving Darnold into the ground. Not to mention the guys he was working with while with Miami(too many to name). But I agree, hes my RB3 so now I am just hoping he latches onto a team by weeks end so he can prepare and be ready for week 7 lol My guess is: Bears(diff player than Montgomery, would make a solid 1-2 punch IMO)/Chargers(Ekelar out for 4-6 weeks and no RB on their roster is better than Bell)/Chiefs(rookie RB outside of week 1 has struggle to some extent)/Denver(Melvin Gordon out 3 weeks due to recent DUI).
  9. best thing that could happen for Bell was to get out of the Jets
  10. The Miami model would be terrific if Indiana could mimic it. Sure we do not have the beaches, nice weather year around but you bring that basketball model here to Indiana, I think it could attract free agents a little better.
  11. Dan Craig and Chris Quinn to interview for Pacers head coach this week
  12. ever they never have I do not think. Could be wrong
  13. Just think, the Saints may get a Monday Night primetime football game in good ole Lucas Oil Stadium before the home team ala Colts.
  14. First year in Indy where he earned his 1st All Star nod.
  15. Very intrigued at what the Pacers could net for Victor. I truly think he'll return very close to pre knee injury. If Myles could have netted us a top 10 pick in this past draft plus other assets, what does Vic net us in return?
  16. well I wouldn't either but there was a 3 year stretch that they were close and he chose not too. 11/12, 12/13 and 13/14
  17. Not big on the Joerger signing, his track record is not very good. First two years were good with Memphis but after that woof
  18. I saw reports of Simon tired of first round exits as well, however, this has been more recent then say when they went to the ECFs with PG, West, Hibbert, etc in 2012/2013. Simon has said he would be willing to spend, however, the chances of that happening is very slim if you don't consistently hit on your first rd draft picks and navigating away from injuries(can't predict or prevent these like Indy has seen in recent years dating back to Danny G) so there has been no reason to spend money if you miss on talent in 1st rd or cannot develop the talent you draft(this team should have never let Vogel leave). Yes they have signed free agents ala David West, Monte Ellis(WOOF), Bojan(good signing), etc. Brogdon I am not including cause we shipped draft picks out for him. So David West is our best Free Agent signing in the last dozen years or so I'd say. Simon has not went into the luxury tax to try and get to a title. 12-13 and 13-14 they went to the ECF and lost both times(they hit on their recent drafts ala Hibbert, PG, Lance and spent money on West, Scola and traded for George Hill on draft night. They could have been one player away from beating Lebron and the Heat had they spent a little more in free agency to help the bench.
  19. D'Antoni to have 2nd interview with Pacers. Also, like we have heard for the last 3 or 4 years, Jrue Holiday linked as a trade candidate to the Pacers. Not sure he fits here assuming Vic stays. Vic would need to be traded for Jrue to make his way to Indy so assume Vic is trade(not sure where) and My guess would be Indy would send Myles and Doug to Pelicans for Jrue and their 1st rd pick for this year. Jrue is listed at "SG" but can play both PG and SG.
  20. Bird left Pritchard to clean up his mess. Simon is content with yearly 1st rd exits, spending just enough money to get at the salary cap and putting fans in the seat. Did PG want to leave sure, however, it’s ownerships fault 💯 this time. Now for Vic and the current situation only time will tell. Pritchard is taking action(during Nate, asking players their opinions on what they want to see in their next coach, etc), however, did he wait to long with Nate? We shall see(my mom opinion is yes). Whoever this next coach is will be key. If it’s D’Antoni we’re playing small ball and you can all but guarantee Myles is gone so we operate with one Center. If it’s someone else, maybe it works with Sabonis and Myles who knows.
  21. Agree 100%, similar situation but still some difference amongst the two situations.
  22. Actually PG did say the following: "I'm under contract as a Pacer" he said. "That's all that needs to really be known. I'm here. I'm a Pacer. Again, what I have been dealing with is stories. You guys talking or teams talking. I'm a Pacer. There is no way around that. THis is my team, my group and this is where I'm at".
  23. Very True. Maybe this holds true and he stays a Pacers so I'd be more curious what we'd get for Myles in return.
