2024/2025 portal/late decommits IU is interested in

It's money-makin' time...ain't nobody got time to be cleaning windshields! -
Gee...you think a Turdue fan made that list...?🤔
-
Former Linton player Joey Hart is likely leaving UK. If he does, might be a good fit at ISU. Coach is literally from the same county.
-
Sounds unlikely based on all the other targets.
-
I'm sure you're right, but that sounds so much like a Purdue fan.

That's a 48-page thread that's less than a month old. You're missing a lot of action by skipping the recruiting page. It's added SEVERAL pages just today.

Yeah, I saw the disclaimer after I posted the question while I was catching up. Me neither, but I'm leaning toward country-specific issue. For Edey, I'm guessing it was a Canada taxation issue. That being said, smart accountants figure stuff like that out all the time and plenty of foreign citizens make $$$ in the U.S., so maybe Edey just had insufficient or bad advice. I have a hard time believing that he absolutely could not make U.S. NIL $$$. It's more likely that he didn't want to screw with the taxation issues involved. -

So much IU happiness in this screen shot. Hope springs eternal... -

Is that true for every foreign country? I know nada about international taxation, but would assume that it's not a U.S. tax code issue? -
UK may be one of the few schools with a fanbase that makes it even harder to recruit than IU. Oddly enough, it appears it only makes it difficult to recruit coaches and not players.

Turdue will always feel like a crappy second rate program to a lot of people on the outside with such little brotherish behavior. The fact that it happened before playing for a NATIONAL ChAMPIONSHIP just proves how juvenile and insecure a huge portion of that fanbase is. Toiletmakers, IU fans laugh at your ridiculousness as IU continues to live rent-free in your tiny pea-brained heads. 😂 ...and for good measure...one of my all-time favorite GIFs...
-
I likewise am on the outside looking in. I think she's better for sure. I just think it takes a lot of effort to reverse years and years of institutional rot and I'm not sure one person can do it without a lot of cooperation.
-
Pretty much my thoughts on IU for the last 30 years. I'm not sure any coach can win at the highest level at IU without a wholesale change in management and culture.
-
...but that's exactly what Turdue fans will say when Sisley announces for IU.💰💰💰
-
That would be quality entertainment for me...😂
-
Me too...😂

Summarizing for all of you who don't want to take the time to read this: Edey is just tall. 😂
-
They should.
-
I'm surprised unless he qualifies for an academic scholarship. The family pretty flush?
-
He'll also likely get a raise and an extension based on his recent performance.
-
Has he shown any real development? What little i saw of him this year, he pretty much looked the same as he did when he arrived at Turdue.

'23-'24 College Hoops Across the Nation(NOT IU!)

Crazy if true. -
This is the last time I address you on this or any other subject. Consider this season: https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/schools/memphis/men/2024-schedule.html I see a weak finish and a soft schedule. Penny managed to beat Vanderbilt at home by a bucket. Congratulations. Peaked at #10 and finished the season unranked with no tournament invite. This is not a first for Penny despite getting some lottery-caliber commits. He's gotten 2 tournament invites in six seasons and gone 1-2. No one ever said he couldn't recruit talent. On the contrary...he gets plenty of talent and he's had seven NBA players in his six years at Memphis. Unfortunately, he's not accomplished much with all of that talent. If I'm a player looking for growth, development and team success, I'm not choosing Penny Hardaway. ...and with that, I'm done. If you don't like my hot takes, you're free to ignore them. Since this is a portal thread, I'll leave it at that.
