  1. Well...I mean everyone's fears have kinda come true in today's game. All of the glaring holes in our teams game has been shown against the #5 team. We have a team that has no identity. We are still not locked in on defense which allows open 3s. Our rebounding is skeptical. Our shooters are not shooting well right now. Our second unit is not prepared to fight. Our freshman stud has been absent. So all of the question marks at the beginning of the year have been to the negative. I hope Woody can get this turned around. We were in this game until the 10 minute mark in the second half. After that flury of bs officiating it kinda broke our back and it all went down hill after that. Bright side is we stayed with the #5 team for a long time. Our team is oozing with potential and talent but we are not able to tap into that right now.

  2. Just saw this article and thought I would post it to help us pass the time before our first game. This article is about a judgement going against the NCAA in a class action lawsuit about NIL damages. Seems like they opened a can of worms once they caved to allowing the NIL.

What's so hard to understand? He plays the same position as Geronimo, Justin Smith, OG Anunoby, Troy Williams, and Christian Watford.

They're all wings, I mean bigs, I mean guards.

Ah great googly moogly...let's just do what Archie did and roll the ball out to let them see where they fit!

  4. I think the biggest key to our season turning into something special is our guard play. We are one injury away from our backcourt falling apart. This means Cupps needs to be a steady backup out of the gate and Gunn and Banks need to make a good sophomore jump to bolster our ranks in the backcourt. At least that is what I see.

I get it, but what I meant to say and should’ve added, was that once FB made it clear that he wasn’t 100% interested in IU and he’d always liked duke… did we turn our priorities to the more polished player? I just don’t think that it was a coincidence that Queen came to the forefront once FB said that he’d been waiting on a Duke offer.

I guess I still don't see what is so glamorous about Duke now. The glamorousness of Duke left a couple of years ago. So far Scheyer has not shown alot.

Oh, I agree. And "fit"plays a big part in how any transition would go.

I am not saying no, I am saying I don't see what makes him stand out more than about 50 other guards in the portal with seemingly similar skill sets.

More curious why @ButlerHoosier singled out this target, in particular.

Just cause I have watched a little bit of his film and it seems Gonzaga is looking at him. They are normally really good on guard play. Plus a 6'5 pg will help on defense. Plus I don't know if X is getting an extension by all signs it seems he would but it would help alleviate ball handling duties on Cupps. He's from Australi and worth at least a flyer on. Gonzaga has had some pretty good luck.
