Holy crapola!! Rico Suave!!

You big ninny!! I had zero issues/after shocks from my second Moderna. I do find that I howl quite a lot at a full moon. Boy, last night was really something! I scratch a lot more at those times too. 🤔

Yeah, you can catch my new series..."Fly Fishing the Wabash" on Wide World Of Dorks.

Yeah, I do enjoy playing some "old guy" cards now and then. Keep some of these youngsters guessing. 😁

I was unaware that you were related to Euell Gibbons? 😂 LOL You ole bark biter!! 😂

Dog, cat, something else, or nothing?

That one could have been in the movie, "Birth Of A Nation". 😁 -
Well, the players seem incredibly robotic in their approach to the game. But the managers are also...and the GM's. I find the game, as it's played these days, pretty boring. It may be the most efficient way to play...the most effective way...and from statistics analysis the best way to win...but it's a bad product for watching. Strikeouts and homeruns. No thanks. So yes...I think robots are just what the game needs, at this point.

Classic Reds...finally get a good outing from both starter and bullpen...but no offense. LOL. I believe I've seen this one before... and I'm not speaking about this game...I mean this season. 😝

Now cut that out!! 😝

Sorry. I misunderstood your post. Thought you were expressing a real concern versus a hypothetical one. Apologies. 😊 -
2022 Class Rankings and Discussion
jv1972iu replied to IUfaninIllinois's topic in Basketball Recruiting
This is where I say, "I think I'll let the staff handle that concern, if it even is a concern. They get paid to work through these types of issues." Not really my worry. 😊 Go Hoosiers! -
The Reds are in trouble because the bullpen DOES suck and that's not going to change. Garrett wanted the closer role, but he has never been that guy. Doesn't have the overpowering out pitch and tends to miss out over the plate. JMHO...sorry!

Logan Duncomb (2021) commits to IU!
jv1972iu replied to The Daily Hoosier's topic in General Basketball Discussion
When I say Logan played in a structured program, I mean just look at who has coached him. Carl Kremer has been head coach at Moeller for 30 years. His coaching record is 601-158 with five Ohio HS state championships. He's won the GCL, Greater Catholic League, 23 of last 27 years. This guy KNOWS what he's doing...and he's also the principal of Moeller. I expect that Duncomb will be sound fundamentally... and understands/appreciates the opportunity to improve under the tutelage of IU's staff. -

I'm hoping to be surprised by what this young man shows us. He's not flashy, but he has played in a very strong hs program, a structured program that has won multiple big school state championships. Nobody is talking much about him or raving about him, but my guess, knowing something about Moeller HS athletics, is that he is going to compete and likely contribute from day one. And he will be the consummate teammate while he's Hoosier. -
On this day in history...and misc. ramblings

On this day NASA's little helicopter Ingenuity makes a successful first flight off the surface of Mars. Amazing feat! Flight lasted approximately 30 seconds as Ingenuity rose to about 10' off Mars surface, turned around and then landed. Took three hours for visual confirmation, both a photo of the helicopter's shadow and a video taken by the Mars landing vehicle Perseverance. -
Hit 'em straight, Ayden!! Best of luck today!! 😁 And isn't it amazing how God has a way of showing up...at those moments.

Plus the lack of a bullpen was always going to catch up with them.
-
Mahle looking good through four innings. Trouble is that Johnny Cueto is too! Reds and Giants 0-0.

Yep...my old man, a son of the Wabash, would most definitely approve. Those are beauties!! And boy they're pretty darn rich too! Those can pass as your entree with a couple of tasty sides....and some cold beer...or a fine Chianti. Pass on the fava beans, Dr. L. -
