  1. Me also. Pfizer first dose. FL just lowered age to 60 and I just turned 60 two weeks ago. Good timing.
  2. Caught these this evening. Lots more to life than basketball.
  3. They don't pass the eye test at all, but it seems like a lot of the bubble teams are losing, so they'll probably benefit from that.
  4. Duke still alive with win over LVille. LVille couldn’t get their 3rd win over the Dukies
  5. OSU drops fourth straight, with tough stretch, MI, MSU, IA, IL
  6. If Baylor and Texas games weren't postponed, it would have been Sooner
  7. True, but Minny once had wins over OSU, Iowa and MI as well. Minny and Rutgers have both collapsed from where they were.
  8. In 2021 their wins are IU twice, NW twice, MSU and Minny. Counting tonight their record is 6-9 over last 15
  9. Well he showcased his 41 point game so now he doesn't want to risk injury so he can play in Uzbekistan
  10. Teddy Allen leaves Nebraska team "After a lot of thought over the last few days, I have made the decision to focus on getting fully healthy in preparation for the next step in my basketball journey," Allen said. "I will continue to stay at Nebraska for the spring semester and work toward graduation. I am looking forward to what the future holds, as I explore my options." https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/30984916/teddy-allen-nebraska-cornhuskers-leading-scorer-abruptly-leaves-program
  11. Baylor looked awful. No passing. Nothing but one on three or four leading to contested circus shots. Shot 34% overall, 23% from three and 6-16 on FTs
  12. Went back and looked at pre-season B1G predictions from CBS Sports: Some notables: IN 7 currently 10th WI 3 currently 6th MSU 4 currently 9th PU 8 currently 5th OSU 5 currently 3rd And the big one MI 9 currently 1st Then there's these: Big Ten Preseason Freshman of the Year Khristian Lander, Indiana Khristian Lander just turned 18 years old two months ago. The former five-star recruit reclassified from the 2021 class to 2020, and despite his youth, figures to make an instant impact as a rookie in Bloomington. He averaged 21 points and 6 boards per game at Evansville's Francis Joseph Reitz high school last season while developing into a multi-faceted lead guard with sharp handles, a smooth stroke and speed for days. IU returns starting guards Rob Phinisee and Al Durham but with Lander's pedigree and production, the Hoosiers will have no choice but to find a way how to feature him in their backcourt. Indiana Check IU's roster, and tell me how this team doesn't finish in the top half of the league. There's too much talent for Archie Miller to not get there. The Hoosiers return Trayce Jackson-Davis and Race Thompson from their starting front line as well as Rob Phinisee and Al Durham from their backcourt, with the lone departing starter, Justin Smith, grad transferring out. Expect Trayce Jackson-Davis to again be the focus of this unit -- and expect a step forward for the second-year star. https://www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/news/big-ten-expert-picks-2020-21-preview-illinois-predicted-to-edge-iowa-and-luka-garza-for-conference-title/
  13. But he ended back in Paradise. Has been at Cal State Long Beach since 2007. He has an overall losing record at LB including losing seasons in 7 of the past 8. One NCAAT appearance. Last conference title was 2013. Received a contract extension in 2018. This is what his AD said at the time: “We have a head coach who matches our culture and has proven the ability to win, proven that he cares about our student-athletes graduating, and proven to run a clean and ethical program,” said Athletic Director Andy Fee in a press release. “Coach Monson is committed to returning our program to the top of the Big West Conference. I believe we are not far from that goal. I am committed to supporting Coach Monson and this team in our championship pursuits. We are very excited for next year’s recruiting class to arrive on campus and join ten returning student-athletes for what we believe will be a very strong season. Our program is in good hands with Coach Dan Monson guiding its direction.” Monson was happy with the vote of confidence from the administration. “I think this show that it’s a destination for me and my family. I’ve been here 11 years and to be able to say that we’re going to stay here for the foreseeable future is so exciting for all of us,” said Monson. “I think the other thing it says a lot about is who you’re working for. The people make the job. The commitment that president Conley and Andy Fee and the administration are making to the basketball program and the statement they are making with this contract is unbelievable and it lets me know I’m at the right place.” Ya think?
  14. Peyton Ramsey comes to mind. But if I’m Smith I want to go somewhere and get starter minutes
  15. Louisville is a total fraud. Their only quality win was by two over VT. Wisky beat them 85-48 https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/team/schedule/_/id/97
  16. About to lose 8 of 11. Hard to believe that team was ranked at one time
  17. How would his game compare to Brody Boyd? Similar size it appears. Smith plays against higher level talent than Boyd did in HS. At Iowa, Boyd became a 10 pt, 2 assist guy by his Jr-Sr years, but never shot a high %.
  18. We are thinking about him a lot On Friday, the following tweet appeared on Crean's public Twitter profile: "I am doing great. I have been thinking about you alot since last weekend. A whole lot. How are you doing?"
  19. These buyouts are making it increasingly difficult to hire successful coaches from P5 programs. UCLA thought they had a deal with Jamie Dixon, then backed out when TCU wouldn't lower the buyout. Dixon’s $8-million buyout at Texas Christian became an insurmountable sticking point for both sides, according to multiple people close to the situation, with the Horned Frogs unwilling to lower the amount and the Bruins refusing to pay it even after identifying Dixon as their top candidate.
  20. PSU up 5 on OSU with 15 min left. Refs calling it tight. OSU in foul trouble and can’t play as physical
  21. Nate Oats contract extension and pay raise https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/30925289/alabama-men-basketball-coach-nate-oats-gets-extension-2026-27-season
  22. If nothing else, we can win the Big Ten chess tournament
