As the old saying goes "Defense travels" but I believe Indiana's improvement in taking care of the ball the last seven games bodes well for our chances of a blowout. I believe the defensive pressure that Minnesota, Maryland and Purdue put on us will translate to the experience needed to win tonight. This game will be tremendous come tournament time for our seed.

Not sure but I agree with your suggestions. I think Gonzaga from 2013 should be considered one the weak one seeds from the last 20 years.

A lot of people say that Indiana's current students weren't born the last time Indiana was relevant and they aren't as passionate about IUBB. It doesn't matter...these fans are as rabid as the fans during the 70s, 80s and 90s. They may not know winning the same way past generations have but they know the history and they want success as bad as any other generation of IU fans has wanted it. When you step into Assembly Hall as a student you can feel the history, pride and the energy that only comes from Assembly Hall. As a IU fan you can feel the positive momentum the program is building brick by brick. The energy is real and success we are creating is real. This team is getting deeper day by day and learning to play through the BS which is BIG Ten basketball. It's a long road ahead but as a 38 year old Indiana fan I can feel the momentum building in way that has seldom been around during my lifetime.

Reasons Indiana won....great defense, playing with toughness, excellent shot selection, TJD playing lights out but the reason Indiana won today was the comment made by@Seeking6. They knew they had to give him 6 wins!

Really nice to watch a game where the refs call fouls evenly, consistently and don't screw us like they did at Maryland.
