The kid goes to Fishers.  The family is likely solidly middle class at worst.

100%, his dad played overseas a couple years and now works where my dad does. Money isn't a problem. I personally don't think he will go Overtime Elite at all. From what I've heard he isn't interested in prep schools at the moment because he wants to stay home and play with his brother is what I would assume.

Was just talking to a buddy over breakfast about this. First and foremost I want the kids to stay and play Indiana High School basketball all 4 years. Want to make that loud and clear for the folks on here.

But as a player what does he gain these next 2 years beating up on locals. I would think they would have to at least entertain a place like Montverde at some point.

From what I've heard, he heard from schools like Montverde, La Lu at the end of last season but he declined, his little brother is playing on the JV teams as freshman. If I had to bet he will stay in Indiana and play non prep ball.

  3. Just an honest question, does anyone else feel like they would rather have Banks getting minuets instead of Geronimo, feel like they are basically the same player, uber athletic and raw. Just feel like Geronimo has had his chances and has shows that at times he can be a liability. I know throwing him in for minuets in conference play could be tough but why not start Malik and bring Banks off. Just an opinion and would like to hear others.

2025 guard Braylon Mullins has an unofficial to IU Wednesday Nov 23.

    Greenfield-Central HS, Indiana.
    6’4” Guard
    GPA 3.8

I don't know if he's nationally ranked, but he's rated the best shooting guard in Indiana for the 2025 class.

The Indy Star rates him the 4th best 2025 player in the state for all positions.

Been watching this kid for a while since I went to Greenfield and whenever I am home from IU I try and go watch, smooth jumper and can play down low. GC played Beech Grove tonight and he had 3 fouls in the first half but finished the game with about 21 or 22 points didn't really keep track. His Dad played at IUPUI and Braylon will defiantly get taller. Wouldn't be shocked if he's 6'5/6'6 when he graduates. Definitely someone to keep an eye on.

  5. Was talking to his dad recently. Didn't say what schools but apparently he said there's a lot of power 5 and blue blood interest in him. Easy to see why, by the time he's a junior, I think he's gonna be top 5 in the class maybe top 3. His upside is insanely high with his height, ball handling, athleticism, and playmaking. He fits the mold of positionless basketball.

  6. I don't take much into ESPPN rankings due to them not updating a lot of their recruiting stuff. But Jalen is ranked 13h in the 2025 class. I think its definitely a fair ranking. When he matures and gets that mindset to go get his own bucket he will be a top 10 player. He's also playing up this year for AAU playing for Indy Heat on the EYBL circuit.

    If Pack chooses Purdue

    If TJD leaves

Flip those 2 and IU is top 3

Purdue is hoping for Portal help

both teams have a lot of talent returning….

PS. Is XJ decided?  100% returning?

Pretty positive XJ is returning. Still see him on campus and he is in one of my classes and he still attends. If he were to leave he wouldn't go. Durr was in the class as well and when he announced he was leaving he stopped going.
