Have a feeling he could legitimately end up top 30 in his class

Anyone acting holier than thou, is????? I know I have made 1000’s of mistakes and still am! Remember working at Indiana Dunes National Park summers during college. They preferentially hired veterans and excons! Z showed up one Monday, he had just been released from 9 years in Michigan City State Prison! I grew up white privileged, he grew up in the inner city of MC. Still we struck up a friendship in the short time we knew each other. Don’t be so quick to wad up a person’s life and look for the next shiny thing!!!
Not trying to "wad" up his life but if there is anyone who knows what a punishment is gonna be like its going to be someone within the program. In my eyes Woody is still trying to build his culture and I feel like he may think this would be a starting point with saying that he isn't gonna tolerate this stuff.

The thing I notice most when watching MV play is how much more free flowing their offense is when Jalen is out there. No hate because he is going to PU but when Lawhorn is out there is just seems like they have not as much motion and less ball movement.

A friend of mine actually happened to be in the jail when X got there and from what he told me X seemed like he understood what he did and the punishment he is gonna face. X told him his side of the story and he said that X was saying that he just ruined his life. With him saying that wouldn't be surprised if he isn't on the team next year.

JHS looks pretty solid, Gribbs Lawhorn on the other hand does not.

Wouldn't he have more of a Carsen Edwards type role? Scoring small point guard?
Is he really what this version of Hoosiers is in desperate need of? Ill gladly take a dude that can make shots and he would probably be a plus to the team but there are going to be equally as big of fish in this portal pool.
Today is literally April 1st. There will be about another 1000 added to the portal in the next 4 weeks as semester ends.
I won't cry and moan about it as an unrecoverable loss as we know about 5+ on here will.
I wouldn't say its a desperate need but it certainly is something we need. I'll gladly take 17ppg and 42% from three. Now those numbers will more than likely not just copy and paste right over to the B10, but we need guard depth. Rn the only true PG we have for next year is Xavier, not counting JHS because I feel like he will play 1/2. But when you look at Kansas they went and got Remy Martin and granted Martin is probably a better player but they are similar. Small PG who can shoot and score at high volume. Teams who make deep tournament runs have good guard depth and guys who can score with volume off the bench.

MV wins 72-63

Don't know if this has been posted yet but figured Id throw it in just in case. Definitely interesting, can shoot and coming from West Virginia he definitely knows how to play defense. Seems like a Woodson kind of guy.

Current offers are Indiana State, Butler, and Loyola of Chicago

Cupps was there to last night with Carr, when Coen walked past where all the students were everyone chanted "We Want Coen". I was in the student section basically just telling everyone who he was. He seemed to enjoy it from just his facial expressions. There was times when he jumped out of his seat. He was standing up for Martha The Mop Lady. I honestly think this kid is gonna come here. Doesn't hurt also that he coached Josh Smith and I think thats not a bad comp. for the kid

Wont be surprise if Assembly is full. I didn't have student tickets for this game so I went and bought tickets. Now IU just sent me free tickets for the game and all the kids on my floor all got tickets to.

From the highlights I saw he wasn't guarding Smith, surprised they didn't try it out. Feel like in sectionals when playing a team like Westfield you gotta put your best player on Smith.

I know Jalen Haralson had some staff members at his game, but I honestly feel like Woody is more focused on the season and isn't prioritizing going and seeing guys. Also Jalen is one of the few guys we are recruiting in state. Kwame is in Florida, Miro is in Finland, and many others are all across the country. Archie and his staff had plenty of time to go watch guys cause the tournament wasn't much of on option with him.

I feel like this kid is gonna shoot up recruiting boards. I would really like him at IU. Def could have some Oladipo in him and with him being 6'7 with that freakish athleticism, if he puts on some weight he could easily guard 1-4 on defense.
-
Another thing to look at is that he's playing with JHS, gatta assume Evans Jr. wouldn't mind playing college ball with a PG he already knows and has chemistry with. Would just make it that much easier for him.

Recently listed schools that are recruiting him the hardest. Includes IU, Texas, Oregon, Duke, Syracuse, Kentucky, Auburn, USC, and Memphis. Said it's not a cut list just schools recruiting the hardest.

I get what your sayin about JHS and 11ppg, but he's playing against the best teams in the country every game and he's playing with Whitehead, Reneau, Evans and Dillon Mitchell. He's not on that team to score he's there to run the offense.
