  1. I actually took it the exact opposite lol TJD is coming back and the major reason for that was NIL. I usually skew things in the positive way, and I am usually wrong haha
  2. are these related? She mentions recommitting in her tweets below that one.
  3. More gruesome stories coming from Penn State under Joe Pa. Gross stuff.
  4. I think we are also going to be better to quite a bit better on the wing, defensively.... translation-- hopefully we can create more offense from our defense. I'm confident we will create more opportunities for ourselves from simply playing more ball handlers, no doubt about that.
  5. Ballard covered that in his 2nd Colts draft.
  6. Some saying he is headed to Marquette.
  7. We will grow a ton from more time together. We added so much newness last year-- the entire coaching staff, the AD, Kopp, Stewart, Durr, Johnson, Duncomb, Bates, etc. Then injuries to TG and RP. I think your first two sentences are fantastic.
  8. Kopp SR > Kopp JR TB SO > PS SR TG JR > TG SO .... plus you add JHS/XJ playing some 2. That is just at the wing, and personally, I think that is sizable upgrade. Dennis could still be added.
  9. I don't see it as a problem. I didn't see it as one under Crean, either. Regardless, we aren't going to be over-signed this off season. I'm confident in that.
  10. At this point, I think it's just called transferring, since the entire country is having kids leave at a much higher rate then Crean ever did.
  11. @BobSaccamanno where'd you see that he said he was close to 6'7? I thought the times I had seen him close to guys like Fife, etc (obviously Fife is 6'5)... he looked taller then, so I firmly believe he is over 6'5.
  12. CJ gotta put on 25lbs, like Bates did before we discuss his impact in college imo. If he is 6-6/6-7... goodness there is a lot to work with.
  13. Hey, I love it man. To me, Woodson has a lot of the same qualities, the good qualities, of Knight. Plus has the NBA Xs and Os and player development. Excited for future.
  14. Yep, and developing it, then making it work cohesively.
  15. But the question was whether he can recruit... and on paper, that question has been answered.
  16. Yep! Jackson County guy here, myself... I have some friends that are pumped! Haha
  17. Someone that played under Knight for 4 years or coached under him. Woodson should be considered the ultimate Knight disciple in my eyes. How many times have we heard how much Knight loved Woodson? All of that is word of mouth for me, I wasn't around then. But, I have heard story after story of Knights almost admiration for Woodson, and I am sure a heck of lot of mentorship, as well. Now, can't fault Dane for not being able to experience Knight more.... But yeah, never a bad word about Mike Woodson on a single IU website, ever, until last March when he was hired as our coach. That doesn't have anything to do with Dane, for sure. It's just something that irks me. Comes with the territory, I reckon.
  18. @PAHoosier had a great find earlier. 6'4 330 OL FL https://247sports.com/Player/Deandre-Duffus-46097453/ https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/2023/deandre-duffus-272009
  19. 😂 What is a Trailer City? Who's players are paid for? It was mentioned our recruiting would suffer as a result of losing DANE FIFE!?! lololol The one thing I have never understood in this whole discussion/argument/whatever. Why isn't Woodson considered the Knight guy? because you know, he actually is a Knight disciple and Dane Fife isn't? I thought that is one of the things we wanted in a coach? A Knight guy. So knowing that Woodson is the ACTUAL Knight guy and not Dane Fife, why aren't more on his side? Just makes no sense. Whatever. That board was weird man. Weird people. Just overly mad, inferiority complex bothered people posting on that board.
