A much needed close to the half. Let’s see some heart to start the second and we move on to the S16.

We have been punched in the mouth. How will we respond? The close of this half will tell us a lot about the mental toughness of this group.

Matt Painter and Gene Keady were golfing in the off-season. After the 14th hole, Gene said let’s go to the clubhouse, which Matt agreed. Once in the clubhouse, the other golfers asked how they shot. They said 64. Everyone was like, that’s amazing for 18 at this course, to which Painter replied “oh no, that’s just for 14. We’re from Purdue. We never play the final four.”

I liked how we didn’t buckle on any of KS mini spurts. Especially considering how many of those spurts were aided by weird or lucky moments. A good resilient effort last night.

I voted Race cause I’m tired of voting Trayce. 😂 Seriously, though, Race set the tone and we never looked back.

Followed by delivering a set of twins during a timeout.

And drove an Uber during halftime.

Hate how we allow teams to hang around. We should be up double digits.

Who is #25???

I wanna see how they come out of the first TV timeout. Recently that has been an issue.

I want to see a strong opening, and then I want to see them avoid a letdown after the first TV timeout.

I love the Purdue loss, but now I’m antsy that we talk smack and screw this up ourselves. 😬
