Harmonie State Park in Posey County is a nice spot that gets overlooked.

I never liked the handshake line. It pretty much is a bunch of guys from opposite teams doing their best to NOT touch each other.

I went to garden of the gods to see the eclipse a few years ago. Had camped there before too. Cool place. If you go that far may as well see Cave in Rock too. It definitely doesn't feel like you are in Illinois.

You aren't the only one, I've thought they seem smaller than others too. I've had 2 trucks and 2 cars get hit in parking lots. All with 90 degree spaces. Not 1 person left a note. Twice happened when I left open spaces around me. Smh.

Parking lots that don't have 45 or 60 degree spaces greatly annoy me.

The middle one was $20. The bookstore guy said the 92 book is rare and hard to find.

It's a small hotel type room with a full bath. It's like an old apartment downtown above businesses. It's very homey. We're definitely coming back. But there is a communal kitchen and living room. Well worth the price.

Just picked these up at a bookstore in Bloomington.

This place is awesome. They have a communal kitchen area, stove, oven, fridge, pots and pans, books and games. Almost feels like home. Just walked in my underwear to get scrabble to play.

So have at it. When traveling or staying close to home what are some recommendations.

Staying in Bloomington tonight to make up for my wife's bday. Found this place downtown called Walnut Street Inn. Great location on the square. $75 a night. If you need a stay in town I highly recommend. Pic of my room

The hat is a nice accessory.

The deck came with house and was poorly constructed to begin with. But with so many more options now I will opt for something else in the future.

Finishing repairing part of it, and complete rebuild of the back probably make it bigger in the back. It wraps around the front, one side, and back so pretty big.

Seems like a good annual topic so I'll start one for this year. Have most of the materials I need to finish out my deck here soon. Here is a good one I don't recommend. Good for a laugh though. My mom put anti freeze in the garage shop toilet to keep the water from freezing.
