They need to be prepared and pissed off on Sunday. Will be tough w/o Race, but Malik needs to learn fast.

I’m guessing Duncomb is not bringing it in practice, but he has done pretty well when he has played limited minutes against cupcakes. He needs to be ready to play some.

These boys don’t get pissed….that’s the problem!!!!

Race has 12 boards tonight.  Let's not act like he's doing nothing.

It’s more than just tonight. 😆 If the way we’re playing isn’t alarming to IU fans then I don’t have anything for you!! We’ll get embarrassed repeatedly in BIG play!!

Come on, that's not the only time he's played well...I was simply illuminating those games because of the "he always gets dominated" statements...He doesn't...Armando Bacot is a pretty good player, and Trayce dominated him...You can say, "Bacot was injured" but he hasn't missed any time since...went for 21 and 10 in his next game against Georgia Tech...

Look, I understand...We're all pissed because of the Kansas game...we got smoked by a very good team in a gym where the visitor rarely wins...Got it...But as @mrflynn03 said, Coach Woodson is building a culture...The first step, and yes, scheduling Kansas and Arizona were done with his influence, was starting to put Indiana in games a blue blood should be in, rather than a bunch of mid level P6 or mid major games...We had to take our lumps Saturday, but long term, it's to our benefit...

And to pile onto a kid that constantly gets double teamed and as @slojoesaid has increased his assist numbers this year because he knows he can't just charge into two or three players is BS...Very first play of the game against Kansas, he got doubled, found a wide open Miller Kopp, and Kopp missed...Happened more than a few other times too...

We're only 11 games...11 GAMES into the season...Before calling it an abject failure, let's see what happens at least until the BTT...

I agree with what you have said, but let’s not forget…he is in his fourth season doing the same things as he did in his first!! All I’m saying is…he doesn’t bring any energy. How many “All American” players do you know that don’t play with energy every single night?? He is what he is at this point and it’s not hard to see it!

With that said….I truly wish the Hoosiers would run the table from here on out!!!!!

I think some of you are forgetting TJD against Michigan and Illinois last year with the "soft" talk...

Ok…..but where is that version of TJD? He can’t just play like that when his coach just got done chewing his rear end!!! He HAS to be ready to go every single night and he’s not!! That’s why he gets labeled as soft.

As far as leadership and winning goes...

Career wise, Quinn Buckner is the IU leader in only 2 ignominious statistics... Personal Fouls and turnovers...

Yet, in his 4 years at IU, we were 108-12 overall and 59-5 in Big 10 play...

Buckner was the greatest leader we ever had at IU. A mentally tough winner that did whatever it took...

I see some of those traits in Jalen Hood-Schifino...

He's about to be asked to takeover the leadership of this team...

Let's see where he takes us...

JHS won’t be here long enough to get anything established unfortunately!! IMO some of these players are just as happy to just cruise through the season reaping the NIL $$$…TJD, Race and Kopp.

I’m pissed. Why does it take CMW to light a fire under Trayce to get him to play in big games? Why does Trayce need to “see Ballo” to motivate him? For God’s sake, TJD isn’t an underclassman. Why is he getting treated like this should be a learning experience for him? He’s supposed to be a POY candidate. All-American at the least. He should have been dictating not being dictated to.

    When the going gets tough…

Finally….someone that gets it!! Thank you!! All I read here is excuses and that JHS is our missing piece!! We’re not that good and we’re SOFT on top of that!!

Can't minimize how much missing JHS hurts. It just puts so much pressure on XJ.

Also, I know a lot of guys didn't play well, especially a few core guys, so I feel bad calling these two out, but at some point Bates and JG need to step up and be consistent.

We don't really have the depth we keep talking about if we can't rely on these guys, especially when you're missing JHS and TJD is struggling some.

JG is a junior at this point and Bates is a guy we need consistent offense from off the bench. Long, long way to go, but both kind of no-showed in our first two road games.

Don’t forget Race….he’s absent more than he’s present!!
