Of course now I was tasked with watching the house while a technician came in to my son’s house with his laser transit to measure the bar area for a template to CNC cut a quartz countertop. I warned the technician to be careful saying Google as my son had turned the house into a smart home and you never know what happens after! Don’t know if it would still work, as the last time I bid on anything I was on dialup! But I realized that people with faster speeds than me would wait until the last second and then bid $1 more. So I started adding $5 as my safety bid. By the time they realized they needed a bigger bid the auction was done.

No fire department, in fact I didn’t get a blip from the smoke detector. Seems my Jerk Chicken became pulled chicken, going to have to work on the time and temperature. Also needed to be more liberal with the seasoning. However the parts on the outside that I could taste, the flavor was spot on.

we were commissioning a new package machine in Minneapolis one time, so I took our maintenance tech to Famous Dave’s for dinner. Being Georgia Born and Raised I asked him what he thought of the Georgia sauce. He said he liked it, but I wouldn’t say it was a glowing accolade. But what does he know he’s from Georgia!

Saw a system similar to that in Walmart yesterday. I think it was this one.

Thanks, this is a total experiment. I found out there is a family owned spice company right here in town, so I’m using their spice. I plan on walking up to their brick and mortar store after the chicken is done to see what they all have. Seems they got into the business because their daughter was having trouble reading the ingredients on a package of Taco seasoning. So they decided to put things together without all the chemicals. These are the ingredients for the Jamaican Jerk seasoning.

Trying my hand at smoking Jamaican chicken in my homemade Indoor smoker? Hopefully I don’t end up sending pictures of the fire department instead of the chicken 😉
