Cal had the best bag men in the business before there was a legal path.  That money wasn't just laundered, it was damn near sterilized.

The bag men and runners are still very much in play. All of those AAU coaches and promoters, the family members and FRIENDS are still looking for their cut! Also as Armondo points out in his tax service commercial NIL is taxable!

My guess is Arkansas will soon have the 2nd best recruiting class. I feel like those recruits committed to the John Calipari path to the NBA and not Kentucky Blue.

How much confidence are they going to have that Calipari’s path to the NBA instantly transfers to Arkansas?

In real time I thought it was a bad call and I think the broadcast only showed the replay once. BUT once I got a chance to see the ‘zoomed in’ replays, I agree, good call. The screener was moving the entire time. It was too blatant for the refs to swallow their whistles on….I don’t care how much time was left.

Not to mention isn’t there verbiage about the stance? I mean how wide are that girls shoulders that she has her feet 8’ apart?

No, but Edinburgh has a population  of 4,400 and more than half have a surname of either Burton or Streeval...

    Weird place...

Technically I worked in Edinburgh a few weeks. They blew up our corporate office and each of us was sent to a different plant. Mine was Edinburgh, I found a new job!

Shiny new thing syndrome.  As a fan base, we get excited about each and ever commit.  Every recruit is automatically better than what we have now, and most of them would have started for our undefeated '76 team.

Heck, if @IU Scott announced, we would tout his church league stats and pencil him in as the starting 2.

Kind of like every coach out there is better than what we have. Heck I’ll nominate the coach from my alma mater. After all he just won the DIII national championship!

Semolina is simply used to keep the dough from sticking...it does become part of the crust, but only surface level...

Worked at Dominos for a couple of years, and that's what they use it for...They keep the dough itself cold, and that helps with the stickiness too...

That makes sense, thanks for the lesson.🙂

Pretty sure that's semolina. It's the flour used for english muffins to keep them from sticking.

I am probably wrong but isn’t semolina course ground? Pizza flour is usually more like 00 fine ground?

I'm the opposite.  My tastes in music are so random that I've broken the YT Music AI.  "Suggested playlists" are more like "random shuffles", which I don't mind.  Guess that's what happens when you go from DMX to George Strait to the Jackson 5 to Britney Spears to European symphonic metal in one playlist 😂

Arrrrrghhh! So I used to be the sound guy at church playing walk in/out music from my account. So instead of saying play music just now I said play my playlist. First song was church instrumental walk in music! 😬

    A) Now that is impressive....a predictive model that can calculate if a player's 3PT% will improve in college vs AAU.  I'd love getting under the hood of that one to see what's involved. ABSOLUTELY!

    B) I'm going to guess that Woody isn't exactly high on a lot of analytics, which isn't just a shame, but almost a slap in the face given that Bloomington is almost "Ground Zero" in the birth of sports analytics. Could be like me and doesn’t think much of what’s typically available. Someone from that GROUND ZERO needs to step up and show him what real analytics can do!

I need to teach my music AI to be that way! My my mind and music interests are like an out of balance spinning top. Going here and there crashing into things!😂

  11. In this thread and others I have been pretty down on the numbers and analytics, not because I don’t believe in them but because I do. The problem I’ve had is most are simpleton based on record (think RPI & NET) others are better but still only based on box score databases. In a tool box, it’s like using a worn out adjustable wrench, Instead of using the entire MAC Tools toolbox. Elsewhere I posted that until you have a team evaluating all of the detail utilizing advanced methodologies… well let’s just say I can get around this. Meet the 'secret weapon' in Alabama's Final Four run

I remember after getting through several Calculus classes the first day of Differential Equations the professor said welcome to mathematics, everything else up to this point was arithmetic!

All you need is Ozzie/Black Sabbath, Metallica, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Rolling Stones, Elvis, and Temptations.

    Playlist will build itself

Kind of partial to blues rock need to add some Samantha Fish and Kenny Wayne Shepherd
