And Alabama is just as limited…unless they get hot from 3…but I think it will be a blow out too.

They definitely screwed around but that was an awful team they played. I had watched 4 NCST games before their conference tournament…and this is the team I saw. I knew they would have nothing for Purdue.

Very fortunate that was not a good Purdue win but they are 40 mins away.

No it won’t. IU isn’t coming back. They don’t take it serious and you can see that with their hires.

The real offensive foul is to back a guy down. He is entitled to his position on the court…and to literally root him out imo is not how the game was intended to be played.

This NC St performance is one of the worst offensive performances I’ve ever seen in a final four. Not even good defense by Purdue…just total ineptness. Totally turned back into a pumpkin. Can see why they didn’t belong here.

NC St is going to look back at this 4 min stretch where they couldn’t put the ball in the ocean and see this is where they lost the game. Wasted all the defensive effort and did nothing at their end with open shots. Then gave up two wide open threes.

Jones is the difference in this being a final four Purdue team and a first weekend team.

I’d much rather die a death of a thousand paper cuts by letting Edey get his then leave shooters wide open and get gutted.

Oh…I wasn’t a fan but I don’t mind going for the win. Was hoping for a drive and kick out if they collapsed. ISU had no issues getting past their man….plus Larry their best shooter didn’t see the ball either. Guy is an elite 3pt shooter.

Probably sell more premium seating suites for higher money and still make the same.

Fun is winning. There is no denying the time and score was the equivalent of just needing to run the ball at the end of a game. The only way they were going to lose was to give threes and take quick shots…they did both. Now…his players should be smart enough to know to work clock but at worse it should have been explained coming out of that last time out with like 2 mins left.

Yep took all those shots way too early in the shot clock. Could have cut a minute off if they just ran it down to 8 seconds and then started their action. At worse they would be tied with a chance to hold for last shot at end…not playing from behind.

Not sure I follow the highlighted…Illinois, Michigan St, Ohio St, Wisconsin, and Michigan (2x) have all been as close to winning it all as us. BIG hasn’t won it all but they’ve had their chances with multiple teams and styles.

But Woody knows what it takes to play in the league…surely he can set the kid right.

Matt Painter took 19 years to get to final four…but look how great he is doing. So what….maybe 10 more years and if we aren’t showing promise than sure…we can move on. 😀

Grigson basically went on a colts fan forum and took a flyer on ever single guy that someone said…”We should sign so and so” thread. No real vision for building a team. Sure Ballard has missed…as does most GMs…but he has a solid plan and he has a vision for what he wants. Focus on trenches and focus on elite athlete measurables. He has his qb so it certainly is time to lay the cards on the table now…and his seat will get mighty hot if he can’t turn this team into a playoff team. But what he has built with basically a bunch of plug n play qbs so far….they’ve at least been competitive.

Also responsible for the Trent Richardson trade and adding Andre Johnson (terrible) Laron Landry (terrible) Arthur Jones/Cherilus,ton of other horrible OL/DL signings. Wasted tons of picks himself back to back TEs first draft…little to no line help. Werner…oof! Worst gm colts have had since Irsays father. Imagine we also kept Pierre Garçon with TY and Reggie?? Luck could have certainly used them.

I’ve hated watching the Colts be mediocre but that is a product of not having a true franchise qb. The team has been solid across the board but we all know without a qb there is only so far you can go. Let’s see how Richardson does and if he is a bust then Ballard will be gone…but he has 2-3 years to prove that.

Not sure about that….been a Colts fan since they came as well and Polian had a ton of misses later on. The issue you have been preaching is that he doesn’t make big free agent moves and Polian didn’t do that either. He signed his own and built through the draft. His biggest free agent acquisitions arguably was a kicker (Viniteri). Sure there were some good free agents mixed in…Burris, Stokely, and Bratzke but none were top of the market guys. His biggest move might have been signing Simon and that was so horrible and had to be fixed by trading a 2nd for McFarland. So the process is fine that Ballard is using…outcomes vary but it’s hard to say he has done bad when we haven’t had a franchise qb the entire tenure he has been here. Hopefully Richardson is healthy and we can see what Ballard can really do to complement him.

I think we can do fine at TE with what we have. Not sure I want to invest that much in one especially when I think Woods has potential to be a great player if he gets it together. Not sure a DE worthy will be there at 15 that will be worthy…I think the 2-3 rated high will be gone….but that second tier should be in the mid to late 20s. Wouldn’t be opposed for sure…I think a couple top corners will be there but we just don’t value those that high in Bradley defense…so hard to say what we do.
