  1. That's gotta be a record...😁
  2. I agree, but I have a hard time seeing Nebraska winning more than 2 or 3 conference games...they're one of the most selfish college teams I've ever seen...
  3. I've seen Nebraska 4 or 5 times this year and Teddy Allen is a straight up punk... An elbow to Aaron Henry's face because he was frustrated about Henry bodying him got him a flagrant 1 and a seat on the bench...it's something with that kid every game... No wonder Huggins and Marshall ran him off...
  4. I thought I recognized Kobe Webster of Nebraska...he played against us for Western Illinois last year...had 18 points...
  5. I don't think so...he was happy to facilitate and let his teammates take the load...Katz made the point between games that he can't always carry them, so it's good to get the confidence of others up...
  6. If Sparty loses in Lincoln tonight...whoa, watch out... And we have a Shon Morris sighting...calling MSU-Nebraska
  7. I despise Purdue, but this must be the same officiating crew that reffed our game in Champaign last year...the Boilers have had more than a few questionable calls against them... I think if CAM played Lander a lot, he'd look a lot like Curbelo does for the Illini...lots of good, sprinkled with some bad...
  8. Dosunmu looks very passive so far this half...and if I were the Boilers, I'd exploit the Stefanovic/Frazier matchup every time down the floor...
  9. Watched a 90s courtroom drama last night called "Primal Fear" with Richard Gere and Edward Norton... Pretty good...some of the acting was marginal but Norton was great...Gere was Gere...the story was pretty good, but I had it figured out 10 minutes into it...
  10. I don't know what the UT admin thinks they'll get out of Sarkisian that they didn't see in his first 2 stints as a head ball coach (love ol Spurrier)...unless they think Saban taught him some of the tricks of the trade on the recruiting trail...
  11. Go back and look at the Texas post game thread... Lots to look back and chuckle about...
  12. I agree...the thing I worry about most, though is that this is making us into an anti-social society. The political divides, the lack of person to person interaction, the isolation...I just think how many of my own personal relationships have been a residual of work and school... I see a lot of rude and boorish behavior when I go out. I was at a mall the other day, and saw a young woman trying to get in a door with a baby carriage. I bet 15 people walked to other doors to avoid her. I opened the door for her, and she did say "thank you." But I made me wonder how people can be like that. The lack of sportsmanship in sports bothers me too...use to be when you lost, you manned up, shook their hands, and congratulated them on a good game...now you start a brawl or have a beef...incredible. I also think you're right about your point about career paths for young people. I think basic computer coding should be taught as early as late in elementary school. Kids are smart. They'll figure stuff out...
  13. Look at the bark on that! A thing of beauty... Now I know brisket is gonna be first up on the new smoker...that looks delicious!
  14. Already happening in my career field too... When I started as an air traffic controller in 1980, every air traffic function required a human being to take action. Now, computer systems do 50-60% of the work in an enroute center radar environment (a little less in a terminal radar environment) and it's growing every year. The ironic thing is, the job I do now is leading that change. The job I did and loved for 20 years is dying by my own hand...
  15. I don't think it'll matter soon...Shake Shack had iPad like devices you ordered from, and then they sent you a text when your order was ready... They'll automate pretty much all fast food job functions in the next 10 years...just a guy in the back room, monitoring the computer while he surfs the web...
  16. Might it depend on where you live and what restrictions are in place? Here in Texas, I haven't noticed any discernable changes from fast food or sit down restaurants...Popeyes will mess your order up everytime virus or no virus... There are some social distancing and mask restrictions in restaurants, but we go out a lot and the eating places are pretty packed... I spent 15 minutes outside waiting to get into Shake Shack today...and they didn't mess up my order😁
  17. Now I have to frame this and show my wife 😁
  18. You doing that on your smoker? Look like a nice cut...gotta have pics when done! I got a new electric (I know, lazy) smoker for Christmas...haven't put it together yet. Waiting til I get the extended legs and cover (Monday...ordered at Lowes) to use it. Brisket may be the first test...
  19. They don't start anyone under 6'5...I understand what you're saying but a big needs to be on Donta Scott and bigger backcourts like they have have given us problems...
  20. Agree...and the Wildcats have overall better players...
  21. Why is a kid like Justin Ahrens getting junk time at OSU? We sure could use a 6'6 sharpshooter...17-23 from 3 on the year...
  22. OSU smoking Nebraska...50-26... Settles did say something cogent at the half...Nebraska is a selfish, one on one team that don't act like a team... The Key kid for OSU looks like a freshman Caleb Wesson...
