I have noticed in all of these games where they have the bench area all spread out.  Just wondering how much room we will have in our bench area.  I know can put up the 5 or so rows right behind the bench but we still have the wall behind that.

no one in the stands, so  the team wont be an issue.

No real way to say that as they are not facing anyone else.  Can't say they are not better or worse.  Maybe they are beating each other up.  Maybe early losses hurt chemistry and focus.  It's a tough conference and that shouldn't be taken away.

Penn st. is 0-5, you can say that. We have the same number of wins as the 4 teams we beat, combined. 4. you can say its down while also saying IU is better.

  3. Ticket master set to announce you either must show a negative test or you have had the vaccine when it comes out, to attend concerts or sporting events. So it begins. Get ready, these will be the standard to be hired or even walk in a business in the future.

Its going to be interesting to see who the staff makes a strong push for as it might be a sign to what is happening with the roster in the future.  I beleive they wanted Trey K...because of skill, upside and best Indiana kid available after Lander reclassified.

I'm not sure who they are recruiting hard since everything is quiet.  I'm thinking there will be some surprise recruits that Hunter might be connected to.  Time will tell.

Surprise late recruits tend to be April and Tijan not Trey K. CAM misses on the last 2, this class is a mess, when for 2 years now its been wait until the 21' class comes to save the day. I cant see Brunk staying a 6th year, i'm sure he wants a pay check before SSI, like wise with Al. Hell if Freddie McSwain can get someone to give him money to play so can Al. I'm holding out hope CAM can pull it off down the stretch without having to bring in other teams Justin Smith's to build a roster.

Appreciate your input and insight from inside the ropes.

  6. I cant find the quote in another thread about the pull T.Boone Pickens had at Ok St. I was working for a young star from OSU, walkers cup player just out of school. We are on the range on Monday afternoon. T.Boone calls the kid on the phone, all he said was yes sir. He looks at me and says i hurt my wrist i'm withdrawing this week, i'll pay you double for your trouble this week. I call the kid later that night, he tells me, T. Boone hates the CEO of the title sponsor and didnt want me to play. I said yes sir. He could also get a private jet when he needed one so i guess the trade off was worth it.

Same kid i saw John Solheim, the Owner of Ping Golf, walk 7 holes to the club house and back because this kid said he was hungry. He brought back 4 snicker bars. lol.

Very cool of you to share. I like Phil. Seems like a nice guy, friendly,etc....but his on course management has always bothered me to the point of not liking Phil because he threw so many wins away over the years.

That's the greatness of Tiger. His downside is 2 putt pars instead of trying to hit the miraculous shot and opening up the door for bogey or worse.

Phil won a lot of weeks hitting the hard shot. He would only let Bones call him off a shot once a year. lol. Tiger is a way better driver of the ball then Phil ever was and maybe the best iron player to ever live. I also think Tiger was the better putter even though Phil is talked about more with the putter. I never thought Phil was any thing special putting.  Wedge play Phil is up there with Seve but they had to be great because they were so bad off the tee. We were paired with Seve at the players Championship and he hit a tree square 30 yards off the tee.

I've not been able to watch this weeks tournament save for about 30 minutes on Friday.  And, that;s too bad, because I like it when -1 is leading a tournament.  I'm a fan of great play, but I also like to see some carnage now and then.  After -30 last week, some carnage was needed.

For sure harder than when we played the US Open there in 03' Furyk tied the 72 hole record for an open. 272, -8.  I think the cut was only like +3

  9. My fav. Mickelson story that i can tell. We were paired with Phil in New Orleans one year. Phil 3 putts the first hole, 4 putts the 2nd. on the way to the next tee he says to Bones, i don't feel i have it today, lets play to the center of the greens and try and make pars. Phil birdies the next 6 holes.

  10. read 2 vaccines sent to FDA for approval after completing 3rd phase of trials. 1 said to have immune 60% of the people in the trial including a person 95 years old. High bar for FDA is 50%. The only thing they dont know is how long the vaccine will last of course. meaning a shot yearly, like the flu shot, until they figure it out over time. 8 other vaccines are now in phase 3. Hope we can see one out in Oct. or Nov.

I saw the video of someone driving by the parties on Twitter. I've been taking this thing as seriously as anyone, but it's crazy to expect college kids to socially distance.

No i dont expect stupid kids to do the right thing thats why i said IU will be shut down in 2 weeks. And Bloomington affecting everyone that lives there.

  12. Look for an outbreak in Bloomington. I drove around a bit yesterday to see what was going on. on one block there were 4 parties. one had 30 kids in the front yard playing beer pong. not one person had a mask on. Saw maybe 15 parties around campus. I give it 2 weeks and IU will be shut down.

Well Alabama is arguably the biggest redneck state there is.  Yet Saban and Pearl have no problem stock piling 5 star talent.  The football players have to stay at least 3 years.

I lived in Alabama for a number of years. grew up and live in Southern Indiana. Indiana is a lot worse.
