That could quite possibly be one of the biggest Olympic comeback stories in a while. She’s 24 now I think she would be around 27 at the next Olympics and to come back and be dominate again in gymnastics at that age would be quite impressive in my opinion.
-
Could be. I just know the way gymnastics works in the Olympics it’s a four person team but you can only send three people per event or apparatus or whatever it’s called and all three scores count. Obviously she was going to do all events and she probably would have been awful and that would have probably cost them the medal because she was in her feelings and would have most likely fallen a lot…you get the idea.
-
I mean I guess but she was last to go for the team on the vault and she scored the lowest out of all of them which actually put them in the hole they had to climb out of in the first place. With her quitting or pulling out or whatever she did probably actually saved the team getting a medal. If she really didn’t have it today and would have kept falling or whatever she probably would have actually cost the US getting a medal.

Justin Taylor 2022 Commits to Syracuse
IUskim replied to The Daily Hoosier's topic in Basketball Recruiting
I’m not going to copy and paste out of respect to both boards but if you go look now he says he thought it was between IU UNC but Syracuse was in the lead the whole time. -
Justin Taylor 2022 Commits to Syracuse

Not that it matters these days, but Syracuse does already have a top 30 player that plays the same position as Justin. -
I wondered who she was. He always talks about his in-laws being IU fans and his wife being an IU grad.
-
I hope we at least keep hunter. There’s just something about him I like.
-
No. They can like go see him but he can’t actively recruit or do any type of coaching.
-
I am okay with this. I really like those two for some reason. I hope they both actually do get retained.
-
I will support him because he’s our coach but he has got to get us turned around sooner rather than later. We cannot be in another 4 year rebuild. If he gets everyone back including TJD he should be in the tournament next year. He needs to be in the tournament by year 2.
-
But I don’t think Matta can go out and recruit. He’s basically a consultant.
-
I mean I am. I know people keep saying well with the new transfer rule we can rebuild the team. While yes that would be true the thing is that rule technically hasn’t even passed yet. So as of right now the true rule is unless they are a grad transfer or apply for a waiver they would have to sit a year to play.
-
oh I don’t think he will ever leave. I was just throwing it out there.
-
Not that he would come here or probably anywhere else for that matter, but I wonder what it would take to get Few out of Spokane.
-
Defensive game by the looks of that score....
-
That’s awful. I’ll be praying for you sir.

C.J. Gunn - 2022 committed to IU

If you can listen to it via podcast I think last week when he has Matt Taylor from the colts on at the beginning of the show he didn’t realize they were live or something he said he hated covering this team or something like that because Archie has no f’n personality. -

I heard that too. I used to really really enjoy that show but it has turned into a daily bash Archie show which is fine, if that’s the way you feel. That rant he went on that you’re talking about I just couldn’t listen anymore and I haven’t since.
