I like these! I'm just glad Indiana is doing something, anything that's fun and modern.
I agree about fun and modern. I usually love black uniforms as well. These just seem kind of plain? Oh well maybe they’ll look better on the screen and I’ll be like never mind those look awesome.

I usually love black uniforms, but these are just kind of boring

I am wondering what are the reasons for the lack of commitments for the class of 24 and beyond. I heard some say that Mullins and Sisley's family loves IU but not the style of play. Is it that they don't want to play for Woodson or is it all the speculation around his job security
Yes.

I’m not on the fire Woodson train yet just because I hate going thru firing coaches and if we fire Woodson that will be 5 coaching changes and I’m under 40 which is just not acceptable for a blue blood program. With all that said if we do fire Woodson after this season then so be it. I will say the next coach has to be right and he has to win immediately. We cannot have the patience to be oh let’s give him such and such years to build this. There is no more time for that.

I thought I heard that the KC online led the league in penalties this year
Their tackles did.

Mcneely, JHS, Queen (not signed) & Reneau are all Kenya Hunter. Where is the talent Woodson brought in?
Ware? Nah, that’s Rosemond.
Wasn’t Walsh the main on mcneely?

seriously though, i don't bet and often don't look at the line. i'm guessing that kind of spread against us is pretty rare?
Probably have to go back to early Tom Crean years to get anything close to that.

Damn. I missed a real good one, it seems. They're going to get me to pay for Peacock next year, unfortunately.
It was a heck of a game. That Michigan state team is no joke.

Remind me how the quad works again. Is it where the team is at the end of the season or does it count as a quad 1 even if they aren’t quad 1 anymore

With this team any win is good to get.

Yep.
Eventually fell behind by 14. Late rally wasn't enough.
IU takes its 2nd conference loss of the season and not sits in 3rd place.
If they even just knock off 10 points from what OSU scored in the 3rd might be a different ball game, but I’m sure some people thought we wouldn’t win any games without Syd in the lineup.

3rd quarter killed them. Furious comeback though.

This season has sucked not only because of the losses but also what it has turned this board into. It’s exhausting to read the condescending and childish back and forth between everyone, but back to the point of this long winded post. I was never really on board with the Woodson hire. In all honesty I wanted musselman thought he would do great here. However I started to like Woodson with the two tourney appearances the recruits he brought in. If he gets fired after this season then that’s the decision they make and I’ll support it. If they do it they better make the right hire. I’m under 40 and it will the 5th coaching change in my lifetime. That is unacceptable for a blue blood program. Also again if they get a new coach that MUST win immediately. There will be no patience from me. We cannot afford to be told to be patient anymore and wait with NIL and the portal that coach has to win and win now. Anyway most won’t read this as it is long but such is life. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

Penn State's press is a little more aggressive than Iowa's... The Lions lead the Big 10 in steals and are 20th nationally...
It'll be a challenge...
Do they play the “havoc” defense

Women’s officiating is always horrible, makes the Men’s games look luxurious
If they are as serious as they say they in growing womens basketball get some competent officials. My goodness.

I think my favorite part of that is the stare down from Ware and Leal.

It was nice to see A Leal hit shots for us. Huge.
Worried about Malik not making it back to the bench... I assume XJs lower wrist/ arm is broke.
He came back out. There’s a tweet someone posted on page 3 of him sitting around where Tim Garl usually sits clapping when a basket is made. I don’t know if he stayed there all game or what but he was there at least for a bit.

I'll add that the officiating was truly pathetic. Not a chance that was a flagrant on Xavier, nor was it goaltending on Ware. But both got called/reviewed because the Iowa bench asked for it. Just like the Wisconsin and Illinois games. Yet the undercut that led to Xavier's injury wasn't reviewed at all. It's clear there's a hierarchy in this conference, and Woodson is getting the short end of that sick.
That made me so mad they didn’t even look at the undercut on X.

She did? That is new to me
Yes. They’re starting point guard suffered a lower body injury at the end of the half and never came back.

I might be in the minority here but the Kansas City swifts don’t really bother me and I enjoy watching Mahomes play quarterback but I don’t think they match up with the 49ers well.

Parrish ruled out indefinitely with a foot injury.
That sucks, but reading what Moren said she’s either being very coy or it’s not super long term. She said she’ll be evaluated game to game so I guess in theory she could be back after the northwestern game…

I love both of those. Let’s do those next year. Also I know they are fan made but still.
