At least they're adding 8 channels I don't watch.
C'mon now who doesn't want Comet, Court tv, and the Tennis Channel?

I get all my locals through YouTube TV and together with Philo $20 monthly), the wife and I get everything we had with Dish's 250 package.
The problem with that is YouTube TV just went from $50 to $65 a month...BOOOOOOOO. Seems really odd timing...very little live sports and high unemployment...now you raise prices?!!
Never let a good crisis go to waste. Many people are going to be home for the foreseeable future and TV is essential to them.

Yeah it's getting to the point where you might as well just stick with cable.

Ha, nope. Not even here in NYC. It feels like between 60-70% here.
Yeah seems about accurate. Walmart was scary yesterday afternoon.

Anyone have experience with Napoleon grills? They are pricey but have a 15 yr warranty.

Being retired for years. I have been self isolating for years now. Actually going out less now. But no big deal in terms of that. However, a neighbor in back of my house had a fence replaced. They did have a cable finder come out. However, the fence guy did not pay attention. And cut the cable to my internet and land line, last Tuesday morning. I was on line on HSN.... and it went out. Service was not restored until late Friday afternoon. As the people had dogs in their back yard. And failed to respond to requests for days for Century Link to enter their yard to make the repair.
I'm sorry about that.

I forgot to say this yesterday. But Tammy was using live bait. Red wigglers and waxies. I was using these little guys on a jig head.

Rico, have you ever tried wacky rigging a Yamamoto senko bait? I used to slay bass with these during the summer. Green pumpkinseed worked best.

Thanks. I was looking at the Weber Spirit 2 burner since we just need a small one. Ace Hardware had for $299 a month ago but I missed it. I think I'll wait for another sale.

So I'm a gas grill guy. Charcoal is just too much work. Now is it worth spending twice as much on a Weber vs a similar looking Char-broil one?

Yes YouTube TV has local channels. But HBO no longer has Gone With the Wind.

Is Zerozerozero really good? Archie said it was his favorite show in that interview he did with Evan Daniels recently.

Regarding Reagan, he flipped the entire mentality and outlook of the country. I think he used the famous word malaise. Jimmy Carter is a classy man who was very intelligent as a Naval Academy guy but leadership was an issue and we got into a negative outlook.
You had Vietnam in the recent past but in terms of negative mentality even more so Watergate, the pardon, OPEC problems, energy scare and of course the hostage crisis. I was a kid and even I was acutely aware of the negativity everywhere. Within that I thought 1976 was spectacular as the bicentennial and everyone rallied together that summer and year. But it ended up a blip in a bad decade.
It wasn’t luck of the draw. Reagan literally had a recognition of it and a vision for flipping the script. Even if you don’t like his policies, credit is due in this regard IMO.
Still amazed that he won 49/50 states. Could Abraham Lincoln do that in today's environment?

Jealous. Loved Torchy’s when we visited Austin last year.
My go to in the food court my freshman year was the Potato Ole Burrito. Memories.
I can’t do Taco Bell any more. The last time I went there...well...I’ll spare you the details. But when I did my favorite was the Gordita Crunch with the Baja Sauce.

Rico isn't the type of poster that would normally be getting a time out from the Mods and the numbers say he is the most prolific poster on the board. I hope I'm overreacting, but if he does not post in the next couple of days, I'm going to be really worried.
The weather is nice. I hope he's just out fishing.
