Sneaky stat of the half: 7/7 from the line.

Really glad seeing Durr play and get Race and TJD some rest in the first half.

Dumb for him to put himself in that spot tonight w/Parker w/2 Rob out, etc.
But yeah.. no reason that needs to be a tech.
I’m not saying the tech wasn’t valid. You can’t shove the opponent like that.
It’s just annoying that the game immediately started being officiated more tightly.

In the big ten, any time a game starts to get slightly intense the refs start calling a foul on every little bit of contact. It’s ruining college basketball.

Is Leal hurt?
Is he getting any playing time?
Anyone think he might transfer if he doesn't get any this year?
Leal is the biggest IU fan on the team. He’s not transferring. That said, I wouldn’t mind if he got a few of galloway’s minutes even though his defense isn’t great.

This game is wild. Geronimo with the 3 and Lander hit the hardest layup of his life. Can’t believe we’re still winning right now.

This is such a great test for Lander

I’ll gladly take being up 12, but we easily could be up by 20. Point guard play has been a little disappointing, but Tamar has been great, Miller is starting to wake up, and the defense has been phenomenal. Really hope Galloway is ok.

We are so fortunate to have Scoop

Refs decided to take over after the flagrant. Probably trying to control the game but it’s only going to frustrate everyone.

Tamar is automatic from midrange

Honestly surprised they called a flagrant 2 there.

That has to be a flagrant. He hooked Galloway’s arm to the ground.

Pretty decent stretch with zero starters in the game right now. Offense looks shaky but defense still looks excellent.

This is a top 15 defense at least. Trayce has been unreal.

Turned on the Providence-Wisconsin game and Al Durham immediately fell under the basket. Hope he’s ok but man that brought back some memories.

It’s more likely we’ll see Lander get a slightly larger role, but I think it’s unlikely we’ll see a ton of him or Leal this year. Their defensive inability will keep them on the bench.

I think Tamar and Geronimo will be the 6th and 7th men all year but will probably be in a lot of closing lineups as the year goes on.

As a Bulls fan, it’s hard to imagine a better start to the season. Really fun basketball to watch right now.

Did he set an announcement date? Pretty early to be down to 3 schools.

Who’s the old guy in front of Matta?
-
Wow. That’s a quick commitment date. Has to be a good sign.

I’m really thinking Miller Kopp has the best chance at being That Guy this season. It seems like he can make a shot from anywhere and I get the sense that he’s a natural leader. Tamar might be the guy next season but it’s hard to rely on a freshman in that role, especially with how experienced this team is.

What I think isn’t talked about enough is what assistant coaches want to pursue head coaching jobs because IMO that’s the most important battle we have on our hands because we are going to become successful. IMO fife stays because he is the next coach when Woodson retires. At this point does Hunter want to become a head coach or is he now content being an assistant? If he’s content then we are set for years. Coach Ya I think is the one I could see leave after some success.
In one of the Hoosier hysterics interviews with Coach Hunter he’s mentioned wanting to be a head coach. In my opinion he’s the assistant we lose first with some success. Coach Ya probably has some FBI stink on him still and hasn’t given an indication that he wants to be a head coach. I also agree that Fife stays.
