I see your point, but BW had some P5 success to point at, Archie had none. Maybe I’m wrong and he does get another P5 job but I think a smaller school rehab happens first.

I’m not convinced we ever see Archie at a power five again. His four years here were bad, real bad. Why would anyone who watched that say, “That’s our guy,”? He will end up back at a lower level and then we will see if he can reproduce his Dayton results or if UD is just one of those places anyone can win. His brother may hurt him too. Would we have hired him if all that broke before we brought him in? I really don’t know.

Off season optimism is in full bloom here. I counted up 15-5. Making the adjustment of two games I usually have to do to compensate that would put us at 13-7.

The good news is my tickets came in the mail today. The bad news is I did not get the parking lot I requested. Instead of being outside the track from my seats, I’m clear on the north end of the track. It’s going to be a loooooong walk to and from my seats on race day. I normally take the shuttle bus from the airport but with reduced capacity they are not running it this year.

I about passed out when I read the words, “I see Bates has decommitted,” then revived when I read, “from the Spartans.”

I think we just usually see on Twitter that schools x, y, and z have reached to player a who is in the portal. A lot of guys post those tweets involving IU in this thread.

It will be interesting to see what names pop up in the next couple of days that we have reached out to.

I agree for the most part. I’m not sure about being ranked most of the year though. I’m just trying to stay grounded after the last three years.

I agree. That is the next step for Woody to take. I’m guessing when the dust settles with Franklin and Race is when we will get more clarity here. I’m hoping we get news soon that we are landing Xavier Johnson.
