It wasn't until near the end of Michael's career that I went from dislike to like on him. Marco has had so much pressure on him due to his last name that' I"d like to see him get one.

I think Kanaan is still good enough to get the job done. I worry about his team though, especially with Chevy struggling this year. I think Dixon is the man to beat.

I think it makes for a better race when Honda is strong. It balances out the strength of Penske.

NBC has an 1.5 hours of pre race coverage so I’m sure they’ll try to do as much as they can of the normal stuff. I haven’t heard anything official though.

I invited a few friends over to watch. I debated watching it alone because when I get together to watch the Super Bowl with this same crew we talk so much I’m not as focused on the game. In the end I think I’d be miserable sitting there alone focused on not being there.

I have been looking at the speed charts and find it very depressing. It’s really starting to hit me that there is going to be a 500 Sunday and I won’t be there.

I’m in the Southwest Vista in turn one. I got a parking pass in the main lot just across 16th St. I’m trying to figure out what 25% capacity traffic will be like.

I called the track today and was able to get a parking pass in the lot directly across from my seats. They said they had not updated their inventory of parking passes online yet after handling refunds on them for people not using them.

I think you might still be able to buy GA tickets. I think they cut off the selling of grandstand tickets last Friday. I’m going to have to get a parking pass if the buses aren’t running. I dread the thought of driving to the race, but maybe with only 25% attendance it won’t be so bad.

My reassigned seats are two seats down from where I was. It looks like they might have cancelled the shuttle buses though.

IMS announced today attendance would be limited to 25%.

I teach in one of those three districts and I can tell you that JCPS postponing students coming back in person has stirred things up even more.

The schools in Louisville announced they are doing the first six weeks virtually. I teach in the district just across the river. So far nothing has changed for us. They’re a much larger district so I’m sure that factors in.

The only thing I’ve seen is the email I got asking if I wanted to keep two tickets for this year or apply credit toward next year. I opted to keep my two. I lurk an INDYCAR forum and I’ve not seen any mention of that. I’m confident it would have come up there. Mods, would it be possible to drop “2019” from the thread title since we are using it to discuss this year’s race?

I’m kind of torn on this whole Vic thing. To be perfectly honest, if he doesn’t end up resigning with the Pacers this will retroactively upset me a whole lot more. I’m not saying my feeling that way is right or wrong, it’s just where I’m at as of now. I might change once the I think it over more.
