In relation to a previous discussion that has occurred a number of times: Woody having no contact whatsoever in any form with Brooks = white area Woody calling up Brooks to see if he wants to transfer = black area Woody mentioning to TJD he knows he and Brooks are friends and asking if he has ever expressed any interest in transferring = gray area.

I wonder what his time table is. Landing a guy not one of ours currently in the portal or previously committed is the next step for Woody.

If I never hear the phrase “inside out” again, I’ll be perfectly happy. Get the best kids you can who want to be Hoosiers whether they are from Bedford or Bismarck.

That’s a great question. It would make sense for the NCAA to understand the free for all they have turned this off season in to and to adjust accordingly. But since that makes sense and it’s the NCAA, that probably won’t happen.

I just read his bio on ESPN. It said he was considered one of the best 3 point shooters in the ACC. He is a 5’10” G. He was a sophomore so he wouldn’t be just a one year guy.

He certainly has plenty of experience with meshing guys and getting guys up to speed in short order. He is about as prepared for the wild wild west of the transport portal this year as anyone could be.

I know we are all rightfully awaiting the decisions for our current guys in the portal, but I’m anxiously awaiting the first guy to pop to transfer here. I’m guessing we add a minimum of three.

Are their going to be AAU events this summer? Haven’t we not officially hired an assistant before so he wouldn’t be limited to the days he attended? If there are no AAU events, there is no point, but if there is I wonder if we might try that again.

Woody mentioned in one interview I saw with him yesterday that he was going to start making calls today to guys he wanted to talk to. I wonder how long until some of those guys jump on board.

I would love for TJD to say he is staying to help Woody (I refuse to use CMW) get off to a good start and that he is going to switch his number again, this time to 42 to honor Coach.

227, it was a little windy.

I did my golf cart tour yesterday. I highly suggest this for anyone who is a fan of the Speedway and/or the 500.

I like the idea of bringing a skill development guy like Howard did. I am hopeful he brings in someone currently in the college game who is very familiar with the guys in the portal to start filling in holes for next season.

I’m not going to lie and say this was my top choice. I’m going to get behind him though and see where this goes. Until given reason to feel otherwise...My coach is on the floor. Go Hoosiers.
