I’ll be there Sunday and there will be no booing coming from the Keet family. Unless it’s the refs or sub par halftime entertainment.

You also need a director of analytics….badly.   Deal with efficiency on both ends, get rid of long twos, gear toward NET, figure out metrics on where players succeed or need to improve, combinations that work and don't.   The AD can lead on this when coach, BOT and boosters are lost.  When the coach is openly pointing to wins and losses and is befuddled by the way metrics impact the college game, you have to micromanage him.   The horrendous analytics early in the year tended to be money in predicting the problems the team ended up having.  There are some real lessons on getting in front of analytics.  

We need some real vision and energy injected into the program.  Only Dolson can do it.

Two things 

1.  Even though I don’t agree with the plan or like the plan, it makes me feel better to know there is a plan. Like you said, we will see what happens. In spite of my personal feelings about it, I’m pulling like heck for it to work.  I am in the acceptance phase here. 
 

2.  As a Pacers fan as well, it kind of ticks me off. They’re generally cheap as crap with the Pacers. How about being some big spenders on the team you actually own?

Hopefully that helps.  I'm just going to have to resign myself to the fact we are becoming a portal dependent program.  Hopefully Woody can find a way to make it work.  I"m not a fan of it, but I'm a fan of IU so I will be pulling for him to be successful with this.

I'm curious as to what the turnout for that will be and how they handle it.  I thought I heard it was a sell out.  Do you have assigned seats for this or are they just piling everyone in the infield?

I took it to mean he knows he has to win next year to have a chance at a 5th.  That's just my interpretation of what he was saying.

And so it begins.  This kid might be a great get for next year, but I'm going to wear this point out in this thread between now and whenever, he is a junior this year which means he has one year left.  We HAVE to get guys through the portal with more than one year of eligibility left.  We have to build a program for the future and not just a team for next year.  If we don't we are in the exact same place of filling gaping holes 12 months from now. 

@BGleas , I know you are just posting the info and not advocating for him, I'm just on this soapbox now and am using your post as a jumping off point.
